He then determined there was a short in our wiring in the basement. her went to every light fixture and outlet in each room till he found the problem. "Doug was great!  When I first called he asked a few questions and told me first there were a few things I could do to make his time here shorter and easier, and also make it easier to work on the drain if there was a problem in the future.  I took care of those things and he came out a couple days later as scheduled.  He called ahead of time to confirm he was on his way.  First he ran his camera down the pipe to see if he could locate the problem.  At the same time he located the pipe underground in case we ever had to dig it up in the future or if the clog was further than his cleaner could reach.  Then when it came time to run his cleaner he spread plastic on the laundry room floor to prevent spillage from getting onto the floor covering.  There were some sharp bends in the pipe, but he made it past them all to the problem area.  It was not an easy drain to unclog.  While he was here I had him clean out another pipe that we sometimes have trouble with, the kitchen sink.  Again he spread his plastic out and ran the cleaner through.  When he was done he offered to hook the P-trap back up but I told him I would do it.  He took some rags and cleaned up any of the minor mess that missed the plastic.  When it was all done the bill only came to $337.50.  Being in the construction trades myself I know this is very reasonable for a specialist with specialized tools.  I will not hesitate to recommend Doug in the future. <br />"
