"What a wonderful experience. I met with James Jordan who was really knowledgeable about what would work. I looked at their great showroom and he brought books and samples to our house. My husband is a general contractor and asked numerous questions. He was really impressed. James helped us design a new driveway, porch, walkway and backyard. The great crew arrived with Jimmy Jackson. Jimmy was fabulous to work with. He kept everything on time. They worked all day Thursday and Friday. Then it started to rain. It was sunny so they worked tirelessly and really knew what they were doing. They are obviously the best of the best. My husband personally watched everything they did. On Wednesday heavy rains were predicted. Jimmy came with a crew of 10 men and finished the job by 3pm before the rains came. I would use them in a second again. It looks terrific. "Sunshine builders planned and designed our outdoor living space and executed it after we approved all the changed and modifications so it will fit exactly to what we wanted to have. At first, we honestly didn’t think that we can get all what we wanted under our budget because it was just too many things in one project. We had an idea of what we wanted but not the full picture--Ken was able to take the concepts we had in mind and turn them into a great design in our backyard. While his prices are not the cheapest, they are competitive and I believe you get what you pay for. "The wall is made of cinder block 6"x8"x16" -- with a footing of about 10" deep. Used #4 rebar to reinforce the wall. Cement and stucco (white) were used to cover the cinder block giving it a nice finish look. Front porch was repaired by grinding the existing surface to remove old paint to expose the original cement finish. He also repaired cracks. It was left smooth and very clean. The side of the porch was also repaired with cement and stucco to match the new wall. I continue get a lot of compliments from family, friends and neighbors who are impressed with the great work that Egald Construction performs."
