"My wife and I just had Joyce Cooling and Heating install duct work, air conditioning unit (Lennox) as well as a ductless mini split in our lower level. We received three bids for the project and selected Joyce for several reasons including, the salesman (Abe) that helped us and his level of responsiveness and consistent communication. We also liked the brands that Joyce partners with and installs - Lennox and Mitsubishi and from my research are the two best brands on the market. Our positive experience continued after we made the selection to hire Joyce for this large (4 day) project. They scheduled us in within days of making the decision and showed up early the first day (big bonus points in my book). The caliber of professionalism, courteousness, thoroughness and communication was present in every aspect of their work and across all of their employees. After each day they cleaned the work area and made sure it was left the way they found it. They completed the job earlier than expected and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Each employee we interacted with at Joyce was polite, informative, friendly and knowledgeable. We have shared our positive experience with everyone we have spoken to about our recent home improvement and am a firm believer in voting with my dollars for businesses that deserve it and Joyce has won our vote. "We could not have been more pleased. We needed to replace our first floor AC, which is a split-type ductless system, about 17 years old. We had an idea of what the cost would be from an online site: [*** Link removed ***] We got 4 bids, 3 from A rated Angie's List contractors to install a Mitsubishi system (top of the line). Except for one, which was off the charts, the bids weren't that far apart. While Unique was not the lowest bid, we chose them for three reasons: (1) Jason (their rep) was the most savvy about the Mass Save and Mass CEC Air Source rebates, which were quite significant (he handled all the rebate paperwork for us); (2) Unique was able to do the job in a week; and (3) Unique included all the electric work into the total bid (rewiring was required). The installation team (John and Quinn) was excellent. It took them a day and half, They were quiet, neat, professional, highly respectful of our homes and proud of their work. We had worried that they would have to remove wooden ductwork which had been recently painted, but they managed to snake the new hoses through the existing ductwork without disturbing anything. Unique had an electrical contractor on site who replaced the breakers on our electrical panel, installed a higher capacity wire from the panel to the AC system, and replaced the cutoff switch on the outside. We were quite pleased with Unique's work, and would definitely recommend them to others."

"Not exactly sure if this is a Panasonic or Clear Air problem but why should it cost $900 to install a new bathroom light/fan?! It is still not doing exactly what Panasonic claims it should. Very expensive lesson learned. REVISION: It appears the problem is with Panasonic. The description is misleading. Be sure to discuss what you expect from the unit you want to be installed with the electrician BEFORE installing. What the manufacturer says it will do may vary with the circumstances of your particular location. FOLLOW UP, finally reached Panasonic Tech support and it appears Clear Air was correct in their assessment of what the fan/light can do rather than what Panasonic lead me to believe. I made sure the Panasonic tech understood my disappointment. In fact, the Clear Air electrician did a superb job of managing to get the system to perform better than Panasonic seems to have intended. Kudos to Clear Air."

"Repairs were excellent and thorough "even well documented". The tech found units low on coolant. He identified and repaired multiple refrigerant leak points. I have dealt with many HVAC contractors over the years and Freedom Air Mechanical is one of the best. I highly recommend."
