"Our AC unit stopped putting out cold air and the temperature in our house quickly started rising, in less than an hour it was already up 6 degrees. We have a home warranty on our home and so I called them right away to make a claim. They assigned it to Gulf State Heating and Air, they warned me that since it is a Friday and a holiday weekend (Labor Day) that I may not hear from them until Tuesday. It was less than an hour from when I made the claim to when Heath the technician arrived. He was very professional and took the time to educate us on a couple of things we didnâ t know about our unit. It took him about an hour to get our unit up and running again and we are so grateful for that. We will most certainly be using this company for all future AC needs, regardless. They were fantastic and we couldnâ t be happier with the service or time it took."

"We had gone with a cheaper company to replace our system in 2006 after using Walmer A/C for years. After three years we were so unhappy with the unit they had put in and the service we had received that we called Mr. Walmer back and told him how unhappy we were and what we wanted. Not only were his employees very professional and courteous, they even cleaned up after themselves, something I treasure! They even moved our outside unit to the end of the house so that we could enjoy the patio without the noise We have only had one experience that we were not happy with an employee of Mr. Walmer's and my husband called him at home. The next morning, both that employee and Mr. Walmer were there bright and early and he supervised the work until it was completely finished, to our satisfaction! We will always use Walmer A/C from now on! Lesson learned, you get what you pay for!

"Okay, this will be one of the easiest reviews to write. Short version, upstairs A/C went out with some kind of electrical error which I?ve had for years whenever I experience a pwr surge. Most times I can reset the breaker and it magically fixes itself. Sadly, not this time. Mid-day, summer and it?s bad. Fortunately, I?m have a service plan with 5 flags whereby whenever something goes wrong with my system, it sends a report to 5 Flags. I checked my voicemail and had a call from Chris (the owner) asking if all is well, checked with my daughter who said A/C was out. Called Chris back and within an hr, Lucas is at the door. Just to quickly touch on this point, summertime and Friday, Lucas arrived inside of an hr and within 20 minutes found the problem, fixed it and tested the unit. He showed me the poor contact between wires which has likely existed for years. Massive headache gone. All credit to Lucas for finding and solving the problem."

He is also down to earth, very likable, kind, and exhibits sincerity in his interaction with a customer. He goes the extra mile to make everything precisely right! In my case, I have an older house, which still had an original threshold on one of the main entry doors. It was in bad shape and there was too much air coming in at the bottom. Mr. Roddy advised me on what hardware to buy, and came and performed the job. As with older houses, sometimes the job requires more work. He did not hesitate and removed the door, trimmed the bottom to square it up with the new threshold. He even volunteered to put paint on the top and bottom edges of the door to seal it from dampness. I am 100% satisfied with his work and the price. I have total confidence in Mr. Roddy, and I would say that you can, too!"
