We found out we had a bad heat exchange during a service inspection. It was over 20 years old. The quality of service was excellent. They came out as soon as they could. It could not have been done any faster. There are other heating and air conditioner companies in Des Moines but I have not used anyone else for years."

"I’ve used Green’s many times over the past 18+ years (furnace, AC, etc.) and have always received great service. I was just at my mother’s house to let the technician in to repair her stove. They called me approximately 45 minutes ahead of time to let me know we were next up for service, and then again when the technician was on his way. They also sent me a text with an introduction to the technician (including a photo) so I would know who to look for. When Ty arrived at the door, he put booties on over his work boots to keep the carpet clean, even though I told him it wasn’t necessary. He figured out the problem quickly and gave me a price (down to the penny, including tax) for the work before replacing the igniter. He fixed the stove and even cleaned up the burners so they would work better. This company is extremely professional, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"We had used Golden Rule for several years. Have the yearly maintenance contract, where they come out in the spring to check the air conditioner and in the fall to check the furnace. We had a new furnace and air conditioner installed in our last home and everything was great and this is why we always use them. We had our check this spring in April and in June our air Conditioner stopped working. We called for service and they made it out that day. The air conditioner was going to cost around a $1000. to fix, so we told the service man that we need to look at a new one. Bob came out and gave us several options which I haven't seen any other company do this. We decided on a new air conditioner and furnace. I asked about a hot water heater, because ours was 17 years old. They came out the next day and installed everything. They are very professional, The service men always respect your property and clean up everything at the end. They remove all the old parts and leave you was a cool house and a smile on your face. I would recommend them for any pluming and heating needs.

Installation issues with the powered "C" wire made me switch to a different thermostat. They handled all paperwork needed for rebates, and for a tax credit for the 2016 return. They have decades of experience. They know installation, and I chose them because I trust they will be in business for the life of my Carrier furnace and air-conditioner. The Dynamic air filter is the best filter I have ever seen in a residence. I just spoke with them today about also installing a new Rheem gas water tank to replace my existing tank."
