Get matched with top air conditioning pros in West Newton, MA

"I whole heartedly recommend Airco. Their team was experienced, skillful, friendly and professional throughout the duration of this job, from Joe's first visit to my home to discuss air conditioning options to Derek and Cam's final touches on the duct system. I had complete confidence in them, as well as in Steve, Danny, Frank and Patrick. Additionally, Airco's connections to MassSave and Commerce Bank meant financing and payment options to suit my budget. No more hauling loud and heavy window a.c. units up from the basement. Instead, I am enjoying consistent cooling throughout my home with no noise whatsoever. I am a very happy customer!"

"We have been in our home for a little over a year and thought it best to have our furnace serviced especially since we don't have a detailed history of service. Frankie D showed up 5 minutes early for our appointment which was fantastic. Frankie was quick, clean and gave me a once over on the age and condition of our furnace. We talked about when the next service would be due. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I am thankful that we now have our go to company for anything furnace related."

"Our daughter and her husband are living out of the country, temporarily. When their leasees said the furnace was blowing cold air, we wanted the repair done quickly and at a good price. Unique Indoor Comfort Heating & Cooling responded right away and came to the property the same day we called. Very professional!"

"I recently had Dodge Cooling and Heating install a new central AC and heating system in my house. They came out the day I called for an estimate and were honest and upfront from the start. Wonderful service, great communication throughout the process, and fair pricing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, THANK YOU!"

"It was quite a surprise to find black mold growing in our mini-split heat-pump/ac units over the weekend! The situation was quite dire with the system emitting a bad smell and the fact that I have asthma and mold allergies which posed a serious health risk! After being told by the company that originally installed the system, “We don’t provide deep cleaning service for these units, try looking on Angie’s List (boo on Sila!)” I landed here. While other companies did respond to my bid, Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning was the most responsive and was able to send out a team on one day’s notice (the wait for other service providers was up to three weeks!). The tech team, Josh and Zack, arrived on time and called me 1/2 before arrival as promised. They were very respectful, kept a clean work space and (since we are in the middle of a pandemic) wore masks and were very careful about the usual COVID protocols. The four units in our home are now SPARKLING CLEAN! We are 110% pleased with this job!! We will hire Atlantic as need be in the future for our heating and cooling needs. I have given up on the company that originally installed the units and will post a truthful review about them in an appropriate space online. I would definitely recommend Atlantic to family and friends. (photos attached to this review show one of the units before cleaning - did not think to take after pictures. Suffice it to say, no more mold:)"

"Peter did an excellent job tuning up my A/C system. He was extremely diligent in making sure my A/C unit was up to speed for cooling for the upcoming summer weather. I know I will most likely need a new system installed in the near future as this one is on it's last legs. I know who to call when I need a new A/C unit installed and it will be Peter!"

"My central AC unit has been broken for several years. intermittently working during hot summers. I've had several HVAC companies come to diagnose and all of them told me different things: replace the whole system, new lines, etc. potentially costing tens of thousands of dollars. So I decided to troubleshoot by myself and pinpointed the issue: the filter dryer needed to be replaced. No company wanted to do this small job. I called Emerald HVAC and told them about my issue, they sent in José, who diagnosed the issue to be what I said. He replaced the filter dryer and the AC unit works perfectly now after several years! In short, Emerald HVAC will be my first choice for any HVAC work in the future. They are honest, professional, and reasonably priced. I recommend them without reservation!"

"On the day that the heat pump is installed, request that Paul or Daniel be there at the end of the installation to go over all the details on how to operate the complicated thermostat. Paul and Daniel will answer all questions, but those who install the pump do not handle thermostat questions. And the maker of this thermostat, like the makers of all modern thermostats, does not provide a manual or a clear explanation on-line. This lack of manual and on-line instructions is exceptionally frustrating, which is why staff like Paul and Daniel are essential on the day of installation."

"Service guy was very thorough and explained everything he did. Also what he would recommend to be done come spring. Like the idea of a service plan they offer coming twice a year to check heat pump. Would totally recommend them to others having heat pumps."

"Kevin was quick to respond to our service request, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough in his work. I have already recommended him to a neighbor!"
