"Pristine Construction handled everything from design, city permits, construction and any extras we needed.  Pristine has a crew of employees and they only take a limited number of jobs so they can provide quality service to their customers.   They usually deal with referrals by former clients and are constantly busy.  Once we met Nathan and saw his level of commitment, Pristine is well worth waiting for!!
Nathan Moses provided the design.  He spent 3 hours with us at the appliance store to select the bathroom hardware, he spent an hour with me at the window store selecting windows and doors and he spent about 2 hours with us at the tile store selecting tile for the bathrooms............all about 1 1/2 months before we even began the project.  They only had a $1000 retainer and he spent all of this time with us!  This is the level of commitment you get with Pristine!
As with any older house you can expect the unplanned or unexpected.  We had to replace the sewer system because it was leaking,  fix broken drainage pipes and add french drains but at each step, Pristine said, "No problem" and had a worker on site the next day.  We didn't think the AC was strong enough to cool our western exposure bedroom, Nathan had the AC guy out the next day talking about solutions or removing our reservations.  We thought the room needed a third coat of paint in one room, no problem.  Everything was perfect.
As I mentioned above, Nathan Moses and Mike Malka are fantastic.  Mike will be onsite every day once the construction moves 'inside'.  We were fortunate to have both Nathan and Mike come to the site every single day that workers were here.  
Pristine took care of the architect plans, city permits, inspections and coordinating everything.   Sharona would call every day to tell us what was going to happen the following day so we always knew what to expect.
We decided to add a spiral staircase and deck on top of the bathroom, Nathan researched and found comparative prices for the staircase.  We ended up going with a company because we just connected with the owner from the start!  It turned out to be a friend of Nathan....should've known!!  Another advantage with Pristine is you pay direct for the tile and appliances using their contractor's discount and don't get charged an additional 20% as some contractor have done in the past.  Why should I pay 20% more to the contractor depending on the cost of a bath tub?  Pristine doesn't do that!
Their work is outstanding! and they stand behind the work  For example, I selected the tile for the shower nook and Faustino spent hours putting it together but once done, I didn't like it at all.  The Pristine team says, "We want you happy."  He came back on Sunday, took out all the tile and manually cut small pieces based on a custom design I drew and didn't think twice about making it absolutely perfect!!  Amazing teamwork and wonderful group to work with!  (And we weren't charged extra!!!!)
You will love their work, their staff and entire team of professionals.  There was never a disagreement or negative response.  The team has a positive attitude, great work ethic and outstanding results.  We hesitated for 15 years about doing this room addition because we heard terrible remodel stories!!   If only we knew about Pristine Construction but sure glad we were referred.  They are the best!
 The cost that I listed above is for room addition, additional closet built in master bedroom and guest room, new addition walk-in, complete remodel guest bath, new AC in 4 rooms, new sewer line, city permits.

"I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company and every single person who works for them. It all began with the designer, Liz. She came out talked to me about my ideas, drew some plans and then provided me with a detailed, to scale drawing. We fine tuned things together and then she did the renderings. OMG, my dreams for my yard in pictures! A month later we were getting started! From the beginning with removal of existing landscaping to now I am beyond pleased. The crew is awesome, Dee the owner is here on a daily basis to check on progress and answer my questions. If it's not raining they are here at 7:00 am and work tirelessly all day. They are friendly and professional. I will post pics when the job is completed but for now you can see some of the renderings. Do not hesitate to hire this company. You will not be disappointed. As a note best way to communicate is with email as they are out working 99% of the time. Response to email is very fast! I just posted two pics of job in progress. "I worked with Alpha once before, and they assisted with a second project 2 years ago which, now finally completed, I'm able to write a review about. Alpha helped with structural plans for windows in a garden level unit in order to prepare the proposal for city approval. Alpha is a big company and it took them a little while to complete everything; however I can certainly say that the engineer and contact people were knowledgeable and thorough. The plans were approved with their help and now that the unit is permitted for occupancy, the windows are a lovely attribute to the space."

"We started working with KN from a cold marketing call they placed to us. We needed kitchen granite counter tops. The owner came to our house that same afternoon and gave us a price we couldn't resist. The workers showed up exactly when they had promised, did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves and left. 

Immediately after this, we found out we have water damage and mold in our kitchen. After the insurance assigned contractor took care of mold, we hired KN to reconstruct our entire kitchen that was gutted by water remediation. They changed our laminate flooring to tile, added 12 pull outs inside our cabinets and then started the meticulous work of cleaning, sanding and staining our oak cabinets. The painters spent a lot of time covering every surface with either paper or plastic to protect it against the stain spraying. And they isolated the whole kitchen with plastic curtains so the sanding dust and staining spray wouldn't damage the furniture outside kitchen.  

We also asked them to take out the florescent lighting in both our kitchen and kids' bathroom and replace it with recessed lighting. The electricians did that effortlessly and the ceiling damage was repaired and ceiling painted later by the painters. 

The different workers who came to do each part of the job were very responsible. They had good communication with us and kept us informed of what was coming next. They all cleaned up after themselves.

The owner was constantly in phone communication with us to make sure things are going well. I never had a phone call that was not taken care of right away. They worked weekends and holidays to finish the work faster and return our kitchen to us. 

The finished work looks beautiful, all the parts match each other perfectly, the new color of the cabinets make them look brand new! 

The only thing that I would have liked to see more of was for the owner to better coordinate between the subcontractors so they wouldn't get in each other's way and work most efficiently. I had to do some of that myself. 
We have some more upgrades we need to do in the house and we intend to ask KN to do them for us."

"Encore Builders, especially Brandon and Ozzy, deserve all the praise in the world! We recently purchased a home and the sidewalk area was looking quite frumpy. I decided some artificial grass would be a nice clean touch. I did a quick Yelp search and found encore builders. I also looked at their instagram account and was amazed at some before and afters. Although this is a small job I knew theyâ d be perfect for it. Brandon and Oz arrived at the time we had set and gave me an estimate on the spot! They told me the job would only take a few hours and sure enough their crew was in and out. It was painless and Iâ m so happy that the exterior of our home matches the look and feel of the home itself. I have recently acquired a few properties I plan to rent out and will be sure to give Oz and Brandon a call. They really are the best.
