"I highly recommend Horizon Landscaping. They were extremely responsive and knowledgeable from the project design and quote all the way to completion. I made several changes in materials and design partway through and it was no issue for them. Their workmanship is excellent and their workers are courteous, which was important with neighbors being close to the worksite. They even came back at no cost after the project was completed when I requested some changes after a big storm. I plan on using them again if any new projects come up!"

Mostly good.  Painted exterior decorative trim when it was too cold so it didn't cure adequately.  Also, the exterior trim was not primed prior to painting.  Contractor said the trim was primed by the manufacturer....not true.  A few months after the install, the trim started to bulge again at the bottom due to water penetration (this was supposed to be fixed) and paint started peeling off the trim.  Since they weren't responsive to fix it the right way (sand, prime and repaint) In Nov of 2015 I spent $400 to have a painting contractor redo the priming and painting of the exterior trim....this contractor confirmed my suspicions that the trim was not primed at the manufacturer's plant and Adam contracting did not prime it.  There were other minor issues with door fit, gaps that had to be sealed due to inadequate door alignment, etc.  So he got the job done in a timely manner, but not as well as I would have liked.  His price was competitive with others and less than some, so I guess you get what you pay for.

"Todd Willoughby is a very talented architect. We have had the pleasure of working with him to design our custom home in Middleburg, Virginia. Todd is extremely knowledgeable about residential and commercial construction. This is our third custom home, and we have worked with several other architects on various projects through the years. My husband is in commercial construction and has worked with numerous architects in the past forty years. The biggest difference with Todd is that we felt as though he wanted to design the house that WE wanted, not the house that he wanted to design for us. He listened to every suggestion and made every change we recommended to design our home exactly the way we envisioned. His step by step design process allowed us to see our ideas come together. We were able to see whether we were achieving the look we had in mind. Todd gave us very helpful suggestions. He responded to every question and email almost immediately. It gave a perspective that is just not possible to get from a 2D drawing. Todd was even able to put the civil engineer's grading plan on 3D showing the house and property. We have never seen an architect be able to do this. It helped immensely. We could not have been more pleased with Todd Willoughby's skills, knowledge, responsiveness, professionalism and ability to deliver exactly what we wanted by the date promised. His pricing for his services is very competitive and reasonable. He is truly a nice guy. We look forward to working with Todd again in the near future."

"The people for WL Meekins exceeded all my expectations.  One of the three companies I had gotten estimates from to provide this service -boundary survey- for me, clearly seemed to be on top of the game from the get go.
- Getting an accurate estimate from them was painless, they were pulling info about our property right on the phone, they satisfied all my questions, being that I'm a first time home owner, had plenty for them.
- The appointment was quickly and conveniently set up, they were readily available for my convenience.

- Bill and assistant  worked for almost two hrs, were very through. They found and re-placed markers ( Stake+ metal rods)  in all four corners of my property, an additional one placed on one of the sides due to a slope.
