"I reached out to Geico Builders through referral program. Project Manager Mila was super responsive and came out to give me ideas and quote. Once we agreed to the bid they were able to start work in just a few days. I already had a plan and plant list from a landscape architect so I was able to share those documents with them. I had biggest issue with the goffers all over my front yard, the suggestion that Mila gave me was priceless. The way how they did concrete an the amount of rebars they use I knew at that time this concrete stays here for a very long time! Team worked very quickly and efficient always left the job site clean when they left for the day. Mila was also helpful when we added more elements to the original plan. I got several quotes for this job and Geico Builders beat them all. The quality of the work was great so I feel like I got a great deal. Geico Builders thank you so much for all your hard work. "Excellent Architect We hired SSA, Inc. for the exterior and interior remodel of our Autobody shop building. It is a challenging project since the building was never upgraded to be current code compliant. There are existing items to be legalized as well. Sharmila, Owner/Principal Architect is very knowledgable, experienced and familiar with city process, current building and fire codes. She is very personable, creative and suggested solutions and design that are both effecient for our setup as well as acceptable by the City. She and her competent, effecient team of engineers delivered design plans, renderings, drawing sets in a fast paced timeline so we do not have lags in our operations. SSA, Inc and team have expereince working with the building departments in all cities in the bay area. They communicate promptly and effectively with plan checkers and building officials. "Mark Brand asked all of the right questions and worked tirelessly with the city permit department to make sure everything we wanted to do would be approved. Beyond being amazing on the phone with the city, his design fit with our mid-century home and anyone who has seen it is amazed at the transformation of our small back yard. We started this project with Mark in 2019, long before COVID-19, and completed the major construction in October of 2020. The actual construction began in May 2020 with demo, to completion in October 2020. Mark and his staff were with us through the entire process, communicating with our Contractor and Pool installer and keeping everyone in the loop and on track. I had never worked with an architect before, and feel grateful that my first experience was with Mark Brand and his team. Fees are explained up front, and although the fees were a healthy part of our budget, I know I got what I paid for! Communication with email and phone calls, as well as site visits were always timely, with any issues explained and problems worked through and resolved to avoid delays."

"We hired Shilpa as the third architect for our project. We were not happy with the first two. She delivered on the design and execution was as expected. This was for a 2200sq feet single family home in Sunnyvale. She fought back hard with the city planning division to get the plan approved to our taste. Most of the challenges were around city officials imposing their design choices on us. Very few technical issues in her drawings. We hired a structural engineer whom she had not worked with before and they were able to execute the project smoothly. We are half way through our project and Shilpaâ s drawing had no significant issues. We do consult her time to time when we have second thoughts about design decision and she provides alternatives. Shilpa was a great ally in revision process and we highly recommend Shilpa for her architectural services."
