"Amazing! I purchased a tiny 200+ year old cottage. Before I made the offer, we had a structural engineer look at it, as it was crooked and quirky, as cottages tend to be. He said all was sound, and gave me a list of remediations for the structural GC to make. We made an offer the next day based on that, and based on the tiny size, the GC felt comfortable making the remediations without plans. When it came time for structural inspection, the town said given we had not used plans, they wanted an engineer to take a look post work. The original engineer refused, saying they only offered post-remodeling inspections for owners whom had hired them as structural architects. I called AJA, and he came out the next day... a total lifesaver as we were holding up the whole project for sign off. He did a thorough inspection, giving a few small, additional recommendations, which we made. We passed the next inspection with flying colors. Because the house is old and quirky, it was not only the home inspector, but also the town commissioner on hand. AJA was quick, communicative, and professional. They were thorough, but not trying to upsell. Happily recommend them to all!"

"After an unusual situation arose at my home, I was concerned about the possibility of structural damage caused by drilling and new construction at an adjacent lot. After receiving a recommendation for Veitas Engineers from a trusted source, I called and scheduled an appointment. I am so thankful that I did. I continue to be impressed with the amount of time that the two engineers spent at my house, closely inspecting the exterior and interior. Within days, I received a 16-page detailed report which included drawings, photographs, recommendations, and action items. I was so pleased when I saw that the action items were categorized as structural and non-structural, that is, that the engineers included items beyond my actual structural concerns. I used the report when working with a contractor to follow up on the recommendations and action items. The contractor was impressed with the quality, clarity, and scope of the report. I am so happy that I chose Veitas Engineers!"

"After receiving several estimates, we went with John's because his pricing was competitive, the estimate was very thorough in describing what was included and, given the scope of our job, we felt having Lisa Bierman (landscape architect on staff) working on the job was a big added value. From the beginning John and Lisa were very responsive to estimate inquiries. They were both very involved with the project from start to finish and I always felt in very good hands. Their staff was prompt, curteous, hard working and did quality work while always cleaning up at the end of the day. Admittedly, I'm not the easiest person to work for or please as I always expect a lot of bang for my buck. I usually find contractors in all fields to taper off in responsiveness towards the end of a project and disappear after completion if I try to ask an questions. Not John and Lisa. A month and a half after completion of the project, they have returned to replace sod in a couple of places that didn't make it, tweaked the sprinkler system at our request and have answered all maintenance questions I've thrown at them. I'm beyond impressed with John's Landscaping and would absolutely recommend them to everyone I know and use them again if I ever have another outdoor project."
