"Contacted them in march, they were quick to get back to me to see the job and make a proposal. I wanted steel rather than the more common laminated wood beam, they were happy to accomodate this. I had to clear all my stuff out of the basement so that they could work, this delayed my acceptance of the contract until I finished . When they began it took about a 2 weeks to complete. They first put up 2 tempoary support walls, removed the basement staircase and put it off to one side, then poured the footings for the post.When the concrete was ready it took 1 day to lift in the beam and put the post under it. A great improvement over what was there when i bought the house.

"Dan and his crew were professional, extremely skilled and performed the work exactly as promised.  Dan was very good at keeping us notified of when they would show up when weather and other jobs made scheduling tricky. 
They carted in 3 trucks full of fill and dirt, driving across a large area of lawn without damaging the lawn or the sprinkler heads.
Dan spent a lot of time walking around our yard with us, showing us what trees and shrubs needed some care, and showing us how to properly prune a shrub.
We are very pleased with their work and plan to work with them again in the spring on landscape design of another area of our yard.

"We ended needing a lot more work, so they didn't actually do the work and we got refunded. And then we needed to get a quote from them for insurance purposes and there wasn't really any follow up. Our insurance company wanted to talk to them and negotiate and then we didn't hear anything after that. I don't have any complaints it's just that they wouldn't do any small repairs cause they said that the roof needed a lot more."

Firstly, their cost-estimation was spot-on (you may know that a common game among contractors is to ‘low ball’ you to win the work and then gouge you later in with all sorts of adders. None of that silliness from Marco and team.) Secondly, the work was very well-done and completed on time. Additionally, their interior design work was also top notch, stylish, and timeless (I didn’t want interior design that I’d have to redo in 5-7 years). "After an unusual situation arose at my home, I was concerned about the possibility of structural damage caused by drilling and new construction at an adjacent lot. After receiving a recommendation for Veitas Engineers from a trusted source, I called and scheduled an appointment. I am so thankful that I did.
