"My husband and I hired G & L Design to create a Tuscany inspired backyard which is comprised of pavers stone patio, custom outdoor fireplace, and soft landscaping. They beat out several other landscaping companies because their willingness to work with our design vision and preset budget, as well as their stellar reviews on Angie's List. Rick Shadley, the landscape architect/designer, worked all of our aesthetic inputs and personal styles into his ultimate amazing artistic yard design. He truly captured our wish of reliving the Tuscany trips we took by giving us a Tuscan inspired garden that looked like a page torn out of a landscaping magazine. He was one of the most humble, gracious, and talented designers we have had the pleasure of collaborating with. The only drawback my husband and I saw was the company's decision not to involve him during all the construction phases of the project. I am sure that he would be more than happy to help if he was called upon -- we just hoped his involvement was already part of the built-in processes. Dee the project manager showed up not once but sometimes numerous times a day to monitor and guide the progress of our project. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He decided to deliver us a custom built fireplace (much sturdier than a pre-fabricated version) after discovering the windy nature of where we live. Based on our experience and observations, the company also hires reliable and hardworking workers. Since the completion of our yard, we have received many compliments from family and friends alike. As with all projects, there were challenges. The company would have received all five stars if it were not for the minor time delays (partially it was caused by holidays and weather challenges). My husband and I will undoubtedly host many parties and spend a lot of free time enjoying the garden and be virtually transported back to our favorite Tuscany spots. We added a large section to the back of the house and created a 1 bedroom and a bathroom room with a small kitchen. David came up with comprehensive blueprints for the entire remodeling project, and he also generated a great 3D renderings of the addition for us. He also got for us all the permits from the city."

"Excellent experience again with Alpha Structural. Charlie Rosenkranz came to see the 3-story apartment building in West Hollywood. We discussed what the soft story retrofit plans will likely include. He's knowledgeable and experienced. We appreciated his professional no-pressure approach and answering our questions. Alpha performed an exploratory investigation of the support structure, as architectural plans were not available. They engineered the plans with city approval. They then consulted with us and provided the approved THP (Tenant Habitability Plan) paperwork. Production Manager Dave Schlaich and Job Supervisor Seth Price met me before construction. Dave went over the approved plans and explained the work that would be performed, and the purpose. They both answered all my questions. Lawrence and Antonio were the main work team. They were very pleasant and answered all our questions. Both had great explanations with Lawrence being very detailed. Seth provided timely progress reports by phone and text. He answered all questions, and provided contacts for automatic shut-off gas valves and stucco work. Despite Covid-19, they scheduled and passed inspections, and completed the work in under a month. We've seen projects by other companies stuck in limbo for months with no progress, so we chose Alpha to avoid complications. They removed all debris, and left the property clean. The tenants and neighbors had no complaints. Daniel Aparicio also explained various issues. Communication with everyone, including the office staff, was excellent. We're very pleased with this experience."

"Kn remodeling and supplies did an excellent job, which consisted of remodeling two bathrooms, the kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, dining/bar area, and upgrading the garage ceiling.

This townhouse project included stripping wallpaper (5+ rooms), painting throughout including staircase walls/ceilings and all the doors and closets, baseboards, toilets, bathrooms shower doors + associated plumbing hardware, bathrooms tiling, and cement-board floor replacement of linoleum in the kitchen + bathrooms.

During this process, the crew took great care not to damage pre-existing items in the house, including the hardwood floors and others. They were very attentive, courteous and professional, and importantly responded to our needs for some scheduling accommodations.

Debris removal/collection was conducted daily, allowing us a welcome degree of relatively unobstructed normalcy during and (especially) after work-days, as the multi-week project progressed. Dust-protection of floors, staged items and furniture was well-implemented, with residual particles (floaters) needing post-remodeling attention.
