We knew that there would be a post-required to support not only the new beam, but an existing steel I-beam that terminated in the same spot. "Amazingly! Men showed up next day after giving us a reasonable estimate and finished the work in two days. Paving stone was beautifully laid in pattern. Debris was neatly stacked and removed. Blue stone landing is finally dry after a storm--for years the previous cement landing retained moisture for days after a rain. We couldn't be more pleased with the work and the workers.
