"He did 100 projects for me for 30 years. He did great work. He was very good at what he does and a reasonable price."

"Structural engineer came by to confirm if wall was non-load bearing as suspected. Confirmed, can now move on with my project."

"The architect was professional, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the project. Communication was clear, questions were addressed promptly, and the design met our needs and expectations. Their attention to detail, understanding of code requirements"

"Jeff was great to work with! He responded quickly to my inquiry about needing a survey, his crew who came out to do the survey was very friendly and provided me with a lot of information, and his price was extremely fair for the work performed. I highly recommend this company, and have even passed along his information to my architect to refer clients to in the future!"

"My husband and I hired G & L Design to create a Tuscany inspired backyard which is comprised of pavers stone patio, custom outdoor fireplace, and soft landscaping. They beat out several other landscaping companies because their willingness to work with our design vision and preset budget, as well as their stellar reviews on Angie's List. Rick Shadley, the landscape architect/designer, worked all of our aesthetic inputs and personal styles into his ultimate amazing artistic yard design. He truly captured our wish of reliving the Tuscany trips we took by giving us a Tuscan inspired garden that looked like a page torn out of a landscaping magazine. He was one of the most humble, gracious, and talented designers we have had the pleasure of collaborating with. The only drawback my husband and I saw was the company's decision not to involve him during all the construction phases of the project. I am sure that he would be more than happy to help if he was called upon -- we just hoped his involvement was already part of the built-in processes. Dee the project manager showed up not once but sometimes numerous times a day to monitor and guide the progress of our project. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He decided to deliver us a custom built fireplace (much sturdier than a pre-fabricated version) after discovering the windy nature of where we live. Based on our experience and observations, the company also hires reliable and hardworking workers. Since the completion of our yard, we have received many compliments from family and friends alike. As with all projects, there were challenges. The company would have received all five stars if it were not for the minor time delays (partially it was caused by holidays and weather challenges). My husband and I will undoubtedly host many parties and spend a lot of free time enjoying the garden and be virtually transported back to our favorite Tuscany spots. I would definitely recommend G & L to our family and friends in the future!"

"The landscaping and landscapers did a fantastic job. Never was pressured to do more than I wanted. Their ideas suited the needs of what I asked for."

"I worked with Alpha once before, and they assisted with a second project 2 years ago which, now finally completed, I'm able to write a review about. Alpha helped with structural plans for windows in a garden level unit in order to prepare the proposal for city approval. Alpha is a big company and it took them a little while to complete everything; however I can certainly say that the engineer and contact people were knowledgeable and thorough. The plans were approved with their help and now that the unit is permitted for occupancy, the windows are a lovely attribute to the space."

"After having remodeled our kitchen several years ago, we had KN remodel our master bathroom. Great guidance, from the construction stuff we don't understand to the aesthetic discussions we much appreciate. Done on time, and with great clarity around the billing. And the crew was great -- neat, thoughtful, on time, helpful. A big thumbs up."

"I have known Steven for almost twenty-five years, we have worked together on various projects in the Film/Television industry. Steven is a good designer who is versed in many styles and has a full knowledge of period details. He has a sound understanding of architecture and knows how to create useful and attractive spaces; heâ s also a genius when it comes to problem-solving. Heâ s up to date on all available materials and how best to use them. Steven has a strong work ethic and is very conscientious, and his sense of humor and light disposition puts anyone at ease; he gets along well with people. Recently, I had Steven draw up a ramp and a flight of stairs for the front entrance to our condo building, and as expected, he did a splendid job. We worked on the design together, and he prepared the working drawings and documentation. Then, he saw it through the local authorities here in Redondo Beach. I highly recommend him to solve any design requirements you might have."

"We did a full remodel of our place, full new kitchen, and expanded our place into the backyard for a new master suite. Pac Sands did a really great job with our designs. Great tools that made the communication easy with the plans and changes we needed. And they handled the engineering and permitting too, which was great. Highly recommend."
