"We had LallyGone come in and remove a load-bearing wall for us as part of a larger remodel. We knew that there would be a post-required to support not only the new beam, but an existing steel I-beam that terminated in the same spot. When we opened everything up, it became apparent that in order to adequately support both, the post would need to be much larger than we initially thought - if we simply posted the new beam.
