"SunShield Awning are the people to call for all style patio coverings. With them you will get a great price, quality work and great people to deal with. My experience was great right from the start. Justin came out to estimate my unusual work request. I have a 67' X 14' patio cover, with the middle 29' being open lattice style. I wanted the open lattice removed and made solid all the way across. Plus, I was having my home painted. With all of that said, Justin arranged his crew's schedule to come out, remove three quarters of my patio cover, including the open lattice tubes, to prepare for the solid cover installation, but before his crew came out to rebuild my patio cover, Justin gave the painters enough time to paint my home, without have to climb on top of my patio cover. When the painters were done, Justin had his crew, great crew (Mao, Tommy and Oscar), come back out to my home to complete the rebuild of my patio cover without the open lattice tubes. The crew was professional, courteous and cleaned up after themselves every day that they were on property. All of this was done without any additional cost for the spotted time slots for scheduling. "Honesty, Sincerity, and Hard Work -- Koda Patios represents the good old American values. Jackie answered the phone and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Pat came out to do the estimate and was very honest and sincere on how to address the problem. My aluminum awning is still in good condition, and attached to the house via a wooden fascia which is rotten. Pat helped me to fix the problem by building 4 additional posts to hold it, similar to that of a free standing patio cover. He was very honest in addressing my needs. He did not try to upsell me a new patio cover which could be more profitable for him. Even though the job is small, he patiently spent time explaining how he would perform the work. Prior to calling Koda Patios, I had another contractor (Patios for Less) come in for an estimate. They tried to upsell me a new patio and planned to install this proposed new cover onto the rotten wood fascia. Unlike Koda Patios, all they care is making the sale for a new cover and get my deposit. I'm so glad that I waited for Koda Patios to come by after my experience with the previous contractor. I would highly recommend Koda Patios for your patios needs. Yes, you can still find honest, sincere, and hard working folks if you're willing to do your research."

"The adjuster wrote the check and we had Ben send Carlos and his crew to install the blown away portion of the awning, replace one post (Ben said the other could be saved), and fix the bent gutters. The work was done just as stated, finished on time, and perfectly cleaned up afterward. I was impressed. Ben could have added on, as another person did, but he is honest and his people work hard to please the customer which is refreshing in this day and age. The awning was fixed seamlessly and no problems in the two years and all the rain storms since it was done. We love the fact that Ben stands behind his work, has great ideas and it HONEST. Carlos, who supervised onsite, made sure that no property was damaged and that everything was cleaned up each day when they left as well as when the job was completed. I am sorry it took so long to write this review, I thought I had written it years ago. Old age I guess. I am going to use this company again this year to rebuild an existing porch, I will let you know how well this goes, Ben has great ideas so I am sure it will look great. Do not be afraid to use this company.
