"My husband and I wanted to replace an old awning in our lanai. In order to do it correctly, parts of the pool enclosure would have to be altered. It was a big job and we called quite a few contractors for estimates. All of the contractors that came to our house said they could do the job and would get back to us with a price. Most of them never got back to us. A few did, but they seemed hesitant about wanting to do the job. Jim, the owner of Accurate Aluminum, came to see the job. Not only did he say he could do the job, he actually WANTED to do the job. After speaking with Jim we decided to not alter the enclosure, but to replace it completely. Jim came with samples of the materials he would use, gave us a timeline for the work, and we agreed on a fair price. Throughout the job, Jim, along with his son and Steve worked hard from the moment they showed up in the morning until the end of the day. Every question we had, and we had many, Jim answered to our satisfaction. When any issues popped up, Jim made sure to handle them quickly and professionally. Jim went above and beyond. Accurate Aluminum finished the job when they said they would and it looks spectacular. You can tell Jim takes pride in his work. He is very meticulous. they say "You get what you pay for". If you want professional work done at a fair price, we highly recommend Accurate Aluminium."

"They made a beautiful awning that covered the entire back of my house. Everyone else told me I would have to have posts to hold the awning secure. I hated this. They thought out of the box and secured my awning to my pool cage. I am thrilled!! They were very professional and very nice to work with. I would highly recommend them."

Retractable awnings are not designed to be used in the rain. They are intended to provide shade on dry, sunny days, rather than protecting people and furnishings from precipitation, and certainly not against heavy storms. The retractable awning may be fine with a light drizzle, but you should retract it if you expect inclement weather or severe storms.
Depending on your local climate conditions, some retractable awnings can be used year-round, including during both winter and summer. However, you should carefully check the instructions for your specific product and find out what steps you should take to winterize the awning fabric. Sometimes, you can purchase a special cover to place over the material during winter.
Retractable awnings offer significant benefits by instantly enhancing outdoor comfort and protecting your furniture and living spaces from harmful UV exposure and inclement weather. They provide efficient shade that lowers cooling expenses and add a modern, stylish touch to your home’s exterior. Their installation extends the usable area of patios and decks while reducing maintenance needs by safeguarding surfaces against sun damage and rain.
