"Needed fencing installed to keep groundhogs from taking up residence under our deck. Brady came up with a creative and complete solution that made sure the varmints were out and would not return. Would use again."

"I am so glad we found this company. The guys installed our awning today very efficiently and they were very nice people. We paid half when we ordered and the other half when they finished and had us try the mechanism."

"From the initiation of my inquiry to the execution of the project, I was very pleased with Carolina Gutter Helmet. Kerry Shade was fantastic in working with me to understand my needs, identify a solution, and provide me an accurate estimate of timing and cost for the project. When unexpected issues arose such as need to replace part of my roof, Jayme Mack was fantastic in getting the work re-scheduled and so terrifically responsive to my concerns. Very happy that Angie's List recommended Carolina Gutter Helmet."

"CARES FOU THE ELDERLY I was very impressed with Roger. Good manners, concern, and advice for taking care of elderly peoples "fix-it" problems⦠in the home. It was impressive. He was hired to care for a window problem. Being elderly and fearful, my sister wanted a window removed or permanently closed down, out of her fear of break-ins. But he advised her to FIRST get another air conditioner since there wasn't another in the home. She would then be cared for in the heat of summer. An air conditioner on wheels still requires a small tubing to go out the window. She felt safe with that. He lock down the window to the tubing in the small space. This was done with great patience on his part to please her. I am very grateful and would recommend him for extending his ideas not only to the job, but the person also. She feels safe and happy now⦠and has stronger cooling as well! I live out of state from her, and was glad we found someone who takes his heart with him to the job!"

"Ryan and Levi showed up on time and did great work! The flooring was done faster than I originally expected while still making it look amazing. I will hire them again for the other home projects I have in mind."
Retractable awnings are not designed to be used in the rain. They are intended to provide shade on dry, sunny days, rather than protecting people and furnishings from precipitation, and certainly not against heavy storms. The retractable awning may be fine with a light drizzle, but you should retract it if you expect inclement weather or severe storms.
Depending on your local climate conditions, some retractable awnings can be used year-round, including during both winter and summer. However, you should carefully check the instructions for your specific product and find out what steps you should take to winterize the awning fabric. Sometimes, you can purchase a special cover to place over the material during winter.
Retractable awnings offer significant benefits by instantly enhancing outdoor comfort and protecting your furniture and living spaces from harmful UV exposure and inclement weather. They provide efficient shade that lowers cooling expenses and add a modern, stylish touch to your home’s exterior. Their installation extends the usable area of patios and decks while reducing maintenance needs by safeguarding surfaces against sun damage and rain.
