"Adam was great with communication and expectation-setting! He fit us in around some bigger projects during a couple of months of bad weather, so things got significantly behind schedule, but he was good about communicating when he and his crew would be coming and when they needed to cancel due to weather. Adam clearly loves historic buildings and the character they accumulate with age and didn’t try to sell me on replacing every single slightly flawed brick the way some bigger historic masonry companies did. He also seemed perfectly comfortable with me (a woman) doing most of the communication rather than trying to only talk to my husband (low bar, I know, but one mason who came out for a quote did not clear it). He was also happy to come by and fix two bricks we wanted replaced after the job was done. The crew even cleaned up our yard and sidewalk after every work session. I’ll definitely recommend Old Time Masonry to others in my neighborhood."

Hired Hatton Brick & Chimney Masonry Services to sweep and inspect my chimney. He quoted a reasonable price, a lot better than several others. After inspection I decided that we would install a liner and new wood stove. I was already leaning this way since I've been told by several the fireplace was not built correctly. We had more smoke inside the house than out. Dan and crew came in and in one day installed a great looking wood stove insert, chimney liner and the price was excellent. Professional, cleaned up fixed several brick issues on chimney. Great job."

"We had some difficulty matching the brick since the company that made the original brick is out of business. Matt held off his scheduled start date to allow us additional time to look for "the perfect match". Of course we didn't find it but did find a match that was good enough. The crew worked diligently and were very professional. We had a problem when they opened up a bees nest and had to modify their schedule to wait for a bee keeper to come remove the bees. The job was completed on time and was professionally done. I would recommend Mid Valley for chimney work."

"We got a 350 paver patio, firepit and seat wall in our back yard. We also had Chris and team fill in an empty area with weed barrier and creek jack (stone). We signed in July, and was told the calendar had us pointing to an October installation. With a very rainy fall, Chris's team kept getting delayed, but Chris did a great job communicating and discussing status with us. Winter arrived, and we didn't get installed until March, but again, Chris kept us in the loop, and I can't really blame him for the weather. Chris has a large backlog of work because of the quality, care, and craftsmanship of his work. He went above and beyond (adjusted some gutters for us, as well as added a pad of concrete at the bottom of our deck stairs to ensure we were setup correctly). They did everything with excellence. They put concrete under the border wall. They broke up an old concrete patio and repoured it correctly with good stones and rebar.
