"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"I met with three different companies before I met Melvin. Each time I felt as though as I was being taken advantage of, until I spoke with Melvin on the phone. He came to my house and I just had the feeling that he wasn't like the other people who came by. I trusted him. I had been told by one person that to remove two bricks that were cracked from my firebox would make the whole thing collapse and therefore the whole chimney box needed to be replaced. Melvin did not use scare tactics with me and replaced the two bricks without anything collapsing and it looks great.
