"We recently hired Shamrock Chimney to repoint the brick walls on both of our bay windows and our front steps. We also had them perform a safety inspection and cleaning of our gas fireplace. Mr. Juan Ortiz was the company representative, and we found him to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The repointing took approximately 7½ hours, and the results were exceptional. They carefully removed the old mortar, and the new mortar was matched perfectly to the existing brickwork. The bay window walls look like new again! They also completed a thorough safety inspection of our gas fireplace and did an excellent job cleaning the glass and fireplace. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew. I would definitely recommend Shamrock Chimney to anyone needing chimney, masonry, or fireplace services."

"We are incredibly pleased with the work done by York River Outdoors LLC. They exceeded our expectations, and we believe their work deserves to be showcased in TV commercials. We would not hesitate to hire their younger team members again. If you need decking, fencing, or handicap ramps repaired or installed, we strongly encourage you to contact them. You will be very glad you did!"

"My concrete porch had cracks and was sinking in a couple of areas. They applied an overlay to the whole porch. The overlay developed a problem within a few days. Ben and Monty responded to my concerns immediately. They came back within a week and fixed the problem. I am very satisfied with the job they did."

"They are awesome! Very efficient."

"Excellent. Mr. Meneses and his brother were very courteous and efficient, and the work was done quickly. Mr. Meneses ensured that the bricks and mortar matched the other parts of the walls exactly, including the width of the mortar. He ensured that the drain was protected so that no debris went down that might result in a clog. He and his brother cleaned up everything before they left. I would definitely hire J. Stone Design again."

"Joe and his team were a pleasure to work with.
We had kind of an unusual project, but they jumped right in and handled it beautifully.  The project was set back by problems on the supply end (not the fault of Brick Solutions, but rather of Lowe's, who sold us a broken window) and Joe took it in stride.  He just moved us around in his schedule and everything worked.  (We were able to be somewhat flexible, which helped.)
When problems came up (again, with Lowe's), he returned text messages within minutes and gave me the confidence to move ahead in his absence.
As the project progressed, we asked Joe to do other related tasks (like our steps and eaves), which he was happy to do at a very fair price.
The only drawback was that Joe & Co. don't  do any interior work, so we had to hire other contractors to finish this rather large project.  Not a big deal, but we would've been perfectly happy to hire Brick Solutions to do everything!

"Had a big job to replace stone facade on new addition to our home. We had the stone that was removed from the existing house, it was big heavy pieces of rock. Samuel knew exactly what he was doing to replace the stone. The price was fair and the work was done in a professional, timely manner. We would highly recommend Funes Masonry. Very satisfied"

"Very nice man and went far above to keep communicating. Even drove from Richmond in heavy rain to give estimate. Good price but very poor quality. We even called reference he gave us. Should have requested pictures. We may have to tear out all his work and start over. Extremely disappointed in results. Said he would return for acid wash but after reading about possible problem with acid killing vegetation we were afraid for him to return. Bricks are much older looking now after he scraped them to clean them . Mortar does not match rest of house. Ugly dark brown color and extra wide mortar stripes between bricks. Porch steps looked much better before he came. VERY displeased"

"He did an extremely good job. Several people have already given high praise on his work.
