"We needed popcorn ceilings removed from the house we just bought, and wanted it take care of before we move in. In addition to gaveling the popcorn texture removed, the ceilings were touched up, repainted, and the tops of the walls also touched up. This saved us a lot of time! "Allan is a highly skilled, hard-working, smart, reliable and honest contractor who attends to details—and has a great sense of humor. He did most of the work himself but also hired and worked well with sub-contractors. He started with our garage, creating plans for a remodel with the help of an architect and then precisely implemented those plans. He went on to demolish our old kitchen (to the studs and sub-floor) and rebuild it, according to architectural blueprints. The job required reframing three windows, building walls, putting in a new fir floor, installing cabinetry and a very heavy but beautiful hood/vent, installing appliances, tiling and painting walls, window frames and a box-beam ceiling. A complicated part of the job was building a permanent buffet with rounded corners and tempered glass inserts which he did well. He also built walls and laid flooring in our laundry room. We feel so lucky to have found and worked with Allan, and we’re hoping to be able to work with him again on future projects."

"I believe this is the correct business, though I'm sure their are multiple crews.  For my move-in clean, the house was overall in good shape but needed detailed work.  I was disappointed with the work of this service and can't really recommend them. Biggest disappointment was dusting. They were prompt and courteous - scheduling was easy and they were responsive to my communications.  A 3 person crew showed up instead of a 4 person as quoted.    I had to ask them to go over several areas more than once (which they did)  so this made me worry about what wouldn't have gotten done if I wasn't present to supervise.  They also had limited uses for the "high duster". They told me there were several areas they couldn't reach (like the ceiling fan) because they couldn't stand on anything and they were short.  Well the next day I went back over the house with a swiffer duster and never left the ground and found a lot of left over dust and some window sills that weren't even touched.  They worked on areas that I asked for extra work on, but I had to point out so many redos that I eventually gave up - and as I said I had to go back behind them the next day.  Kitchen and bathroom and floors were pretty good but I felt like they started fairly clean so it was touch to tell; I only know they girls spent a good deal of time there and what I had them redo in these areas was minimal. Luckily, they finished somewhat early(since I had cleaned some rooms myself prior to the arrival after hearing the high estimate) and I save but bit but I have to doubt the value of the service and I'm not sure I'd use them again or recommend.  Wish it had gone better.  Someone was supposed to contact me afterwords to provide info on regular service - which never happened; I do recall a generic message saying that they hoped I enjoyed the service.  :-\

"I wanted to remodel my bathroom in my 1901 home. We didn't know what we would find, once the demolition began. It was worse than we imagined. Mike at Horizon took the room down to the studs. He then rebuilt the subfloor, updated plumbing, organized electrical, installed shower, tiled the floor, painted the walls, tiled the walls, set up the sink, mirror, lights, new ceiling fan, new heater ducts, the works!!! Not only did he do a superlative job, he showed up every day, worked every day, communicated with me on every step, and delivered exactly what I asked for. I can't imagine a better general contractor."

"Debbie responded promptly and said she was booked up through the end of September. I explained that my wife is recovering from back surgery and I am waiting for her to get well so I can have knee surgery. Neither of us are very mobile at the moment.
Bummed, I kept looking. Debbie called back 15 minutes later and told us she just had a cancellation and had a 3-hour window. 
She and her assistant made the kitchen and bathrooms look like the next step was to have been a HOUSE BEAUTIFUL photo shoot. Not only did they take care of what my wife wanted done, they vacuumed and dusted and took away my collection of ceiling cobwebs.
We were blown away with how thorough they were, even down to making the little pointy thing on the TP roll in the powder room
Classy individuals, the both of them.
AND if you can believe it, Debbie said she was not fully satisfied with her work - that if she had about three more hours, it would REALLY have sparkled.
