"Complete new drywall in my kitchen including ceiling, one wall of garage and patched a hole in the garage ceiling. I thought I was going to have to replace a kitchen window because I couldn't get it open but after the new sheetrock if was usable again. Cleaned up everything, worked quickly and were super polite!"

"Master Enhancement was very professional and the craftsmen were very polite. I was left high and dry by another contractor with only a portion of my addition done. Master Enhancements came in and saved me. All I had was I shell for a bathroom they came in and completed that and it's beautiful. They put the siding on. They stained the hardwood floors. They gave me doors where I had boarded up holes. Not only did I get outside doors, my rooms and closets got doors as well. The walls got painted, trim was done and ceiling fans were added. And they gave me a beautiful deck. I was so happy to have my house back. I wanted my kitchen counter redone. They came back covering my old countertop and put in a brand new backsplash. The entire cost was extremely reasonable."

"Archie did a great job repairing a hole in the ceiling & texturing the repaired area. The ceiling looks great and the new texturing matches the original ceiling texture. We are very happy with the work done"

"I had Drywall Services renovate most of my home, including refinishing my walls, ceilings, new paint and new flooring in several rooms. Armando and his crew were on time, stuck to the quoted price and did excellent work. Their work on the walls, in particular, was amazing--it's very cost effective to have them refinish your walls and ceilings as opposed to putting in new drywall. I highly recommend their work! After their renovation, it's much more enjoyable to be in my home."
A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
