"We had 3 estimates done, and Suncoast was the only company to come to the house. Brian Doughterty explained the process, demonstrated how it worked and provided the estimate on the spot. We agreed on a price and scheduled the service. When the techs to do the work (on time) they discovered an issue with previous product applied to the floor and explained how it would make their process less effective. We really appreciated their honesty. Brian Doughterty offered to do the additional work needed to strip the old product or reduce the price if we did the stripping. We did the stripping. The techs then returned to complete the process of sealing the grout. We are very happy with the work that Suncoast performed, and particularly pleased that they identified the issue so that we did not pay for something we would not be happy with. Our fllors look great!"

"We used Fiefia Drywall for a drywall repair to our ceiling and couldn?t be happier with the results. They were prompt, professional, and affordable. The finished product looks great, and they communicated well throughout the process. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing drywall work."

"I called Stateline, Bill got back to me, I told him what I needed then sent him some pictures of the area. We settled on a price and Bill scheduled the job the following week. All quite painless. If anything, the clean up could of been better but the ceiling looks great so thumbs up."

"Tom responded to our request for a meeting/estimate immediately. He asked for no money up front. His price was fair. We special ordered a window from home depot and Tom offered to pick it up for us which saved us a $69 delivery fee. He showed up as promised and started work at 8AM each day, skipping lunch because he said it slowed him down. He kept removing his shoes to enter the house until we told him it was unnecessary to do so. During the process Tom hung drop cloths and plastic sheeting to protect the areas surrounding the project. Before he left each day he made sure the work area was cleared of debris and other materials - putting materials back in his truck for work the next day - nothing left around for us to trip over.
Tom's demeanor was calm and re-assuring. If he ran into a snag, he did not lay any anxiety on us, but handled it quietly and competently. Tom is a gentleman artisan. We will definitely use him for future projects, and we feel so fortunate to have chosen him for this job."

"Gabor did a great job repairing some drywall. He did a fine job of matching texture on ceiling which was a different than wall. Did a great job matching wall as well. Also, he did baseboards in a closet and they now match well with the rest of the room. Cleaned up after the job. Very friendly and easy to work with."

"These guys did an exceptional job replacing the ceiling board in the garage and back patio. Great quality work. They were quiet and left the workspaces in pristine condition. The price was more than fair. I will hire them again for any future projects."
A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
