"Daniel was amazing! Daniel did a drywall skim and then paint of our entire house's ceilings after popcorn removal. Everything looks amazing, the quality of work with the skim and the paint is phenomenal. Daniel goes above and beyond with help outside of the scope of the project, advice, and even painting lessons! A talented craftsman and a great guy, you won't be disappointed if you hire Daniel. ¡Daniel fue increíble! Daniel quitó los paneles de yeso y luego pintó los techos de toda nuestra casa después de quitar las palomitas de maíz. Todo luce increíble, la calidad del trabajo con el desnatado y la pintura es fenomenal. Daniel va más allá con ayuda fuera del alcance del proyecto, consejos e incluso lecciones de pintura. Un artesano talentoso y un gran tipo, no te decepcionarás si contratas a Daniel."

"The first time Ines and her husband came they did a deep cleaning of my house, which included all blinds, ceiling fans (which had not been cleaned in years), a badly spotted glass shower door, tile floors in 2 baths, all baseboards, door frames, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, plus general cleaning of the rest of the house. The house was gleaming when they finished! I immediately asked them to come back once a month for general cleaning and now my house is always spotless. They do a wonderful job on all my hardwood floors. You don't have to sign any contract, they are very flexible and will schedule each visit to whatever day suits you best. I highly recommend."

"PatchMaster repaired the drywall in a 3x4' portion of the ceiling that had a water leak repaired. the estimation process was simple. Russel and I exchanged text and photos, and he came to the house to confirm his understanding of the scope of the work. I was on their schedule a week later, and the drywaller arrived a few minutes early. He installed furniture and carpet protection from the job site all the way to the door to ensure that he kept the hours clean. His demolition was fast and he let me inspect the are in the cavity before install the patch so I could quickly check for other plumbing issues. His patch work and texturing were also quick and tidy, and the match to the surrounding/untouched ceiling looks pretty good. Over all, I am very happy with PatchMaster and will use them again for drywall needs. Their price was fair as compared to several other quotes I received. I felt that Russel demonstrated the most comprehensive understanding of the work and what needed."

"I’m so happy with the job they did! My place looks amazing and feels so fresh. They were on time, super friendly, and really paid attention to the little details. It’s such a good feeling coming home to a clean house without having to do it yourself. I’ll definitely be booking with them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable cleaning service!"

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
