"Need to have front porch columns, overhang and decorative railing redone due to water and insect damage. First spoke with Aaron in autumn of 2013.  Said he was too busy and please call back in the spring. Spoke with Aaron a few times on the phone in late winter 2014, and traded a few emails. He was clear they were still very busy, and the work may not get done for a while. Discussed T&M contract and possible date, but never got to formal contract. Further delayed due to referral to a mason (reference provided at no charge) to get porch steps done first. Very professional and personable in conversations, but just too busy for me."

There was a slight glitch in the scheduling process, which caused us a little anxiety, but it all worked out. If I could suggest an improvement it would be to offer the client a contract spelled out with specifics, as other companies did, rather than a quote handwritten on the back of a business card.
