"Lance responded to a request for proposals I think I submitted via Angie's List (I forget!) for popcorn ceiling removal for a new condo I had purchased. I had a couple of bids, and Lance's wasn't the lowest, but as we walked through my unit and he heard what my needs were (painting throughout, some drywall patching in a few places, etc.), he expanded the proposal to include not only the ceiling scrape, retexture, and paint, but all walls, too. Because I was going minimalist with white everywhere, and my floors were going to be redone, he and his crew were able to knock out several projects of mine without as much prep work (like covering floors) .
