"MMP inspected the roof and gave us a quote the next day. They did no maintenance work but credited us on the replacement quote. Once we signed and placed a deposit on the new roof, the scheduling was quick (within about 1-1.5 weeks). "I recently purchased an old house, built in 1940. My intention is to remodel the basement as a home theater space. I write about consumer electronics professionally, so this is not just a hobby room, but is needed for my career. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that I have a huge budget. I have to pay for all expenses out of pocket, right after having just bought the house.
The house had a finished room in the basement, but it was completed in the '40s or '50s and was unsuitable for my needs.
