John repaired some water damaged ceilings in my house a month ago.  The job was fairly extensive and needed the plaster to match the swirl pattern in the rest of the house.  He did a very good job for me and kept the place clean by sealing off the area with plastic sheeting and covering the entire hardwood floor with heavy paper.  The job took two people two days and cost $1,500.  

Since John worked out so well, I brought him back for another smaller plastering job after a plumber had finished repairing some pipes for me.  He repaired some areas that had severe water damage and needed the old plaster cut out and replaced.  The job took two people 3/4 of a day and cost $550.  He knew exactly what to do, did good work, and cleaned up after himself.  I am an engineer who has contracted many private contractors to rebuild an renovate several homes that I have lived in over the years and can say with no reservations that John is top quality at a good price.

They were very careful to cover the entire floor and all of the furniture and left each day having cleaned up the debris from the plastering, sanding and painting. A few days after completion , after a very humid day, there were some cracks in the ceiling paint. I called and Lindo was immediately available to evaluate the problem. He said right away that he would, of course, fix the ceiling at no cost once he had determined the best strategy. This was not in any way negligence on his part but rather one of the dilemmas that can arise with old houses. I have used different painters in the past.
