"They did an excellent and clean job. The price is awesooome!!! I started by doing the ceiling and ended up remodeling other places in my home. I gave the contact information to my office maintenance manager and he was delighted with the work they did on the ceiling at my job."

"I had an amazing experience working with Mike, the owner of this company—professional, skilled, and incredibly efficient. He installed a new kitchen faucet for me, and the job was done flawlessly. Not only was the installation clean and precise, but he also took the time to ensure everything was functioning perfectly before wrapping up. It’s rare to find someone who takes so much pride in their work, and his attention to detail truly showed. Even more impressive was the transformation he did in my bathroom. He converted my single-sink vanity into a beautiful double-sink setup, complete with a new mirror and lighting fixtures. The entire space looks like it came out of a design magazine! He handled everything—from plumbing to electrical—with confidence and care. If you’re looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, and extremely capable, this is the person to call. I can’t recommend him enough!"

"Santos and his helper did a great job working on our storm door. After he removed the door he had to remove rotted wood that was part of the door frame. He had to cut and replace with new wood. He then did a great job replacing all the aluminum around the door frame. The storm door was then reinstalled. It was late in the day when they finished. But there was a slight issue with the door latching. The very next morning Willy called and asked if he could come over and take care of that issue. We set up a time for Willy to come and he did an excellent job fine tuning the door closure. He couldn’t have been more respectful and professional. It was a pleasure dealing with Willy. Thanks again, Will"

"I am glad I found this company to transform our old attic. It was an unusable space with falling-down plaster and crumbling brick. And it was not easily accessible. In order to complete the work Trav Construction pre-cut the sheetrock and carefully carried it up two narrow and winding sets of stairs. I appreciate their care and responsiveness. David and Maurice did their best to satisfy our evolving vision of the space, and Pedro is a knowledgeable and hardworking craftsman who carried out the work with skill and confidence. We had a little glitch about removing construction debris but it was ultimately resolved. I recommend this company with enthusiasm."
A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
