"I hired Master Plastering to replace and paint a water damaged entryway ceiling. A representative came to my home, took pictures of the ceiling, made measurements, and emailed an estimated within an hour. The price quote was detailed and quite reasonable. A week later, a plastering crew arrived and pulled down the damaged ceiling, put up blue board, and skim coated the entire ceiling in a half day. Three days later, a paint crew arrived to prime and paint the new ceiling, again in about a half day. My wife and I very pleased with the work done. The crews, Zen and Mark, were very courteous, extensively experienced, reliable, and friendly with excellent communication, sometimes with songs of 80s rock music. They ask me when more precise specifications are needed and notified me when they feel advance notifications are required. When a change is necessary due to inspection, they informed me and clarified what and why. I have never felt uncomfortable in living together with the remodel job which has lasted over four months. The completed two bathrooms were stunning, just as I imagined. Matt, Zen, and Mark have proved their strong & thoughtful expertise and lived up with my request patiently until completion. Great job. "Planning: We met with three contractors and reviewed small, medium and larger options for our existing space. Ryan from Norman Builders won us over with his confidence, organization and no problem attitude. Of course we had concerns and questions, but it was clear he had worked in colonial houses before. What really won us over was his excitement to do something different with our space. From day one, you could tell every detail of this job mattered as this was a new way to design a traditional space. His timelines, pricing and execution plan was clearly laid out. As a GC, he organized everyone from; designer, permits, dumpsters, demo, electric, plumbing, painters, floors, ceilings, etc. He would do it all. The Job: Completely gut our existing kitchen and formal dining room. Remove a wall and install a steal support beam. He'd then move the kitchen to the old dining space and make the old kitchen a common area with built in desk, bench and bar area. The dining room would then be moved to our four season bonus room. Floors, wall, ceilings all came down. All new plumbing and lighting throughout the first floor. Execution: I mean, its funny to say, but we miss these guys. They practically lived with us for the summer. Couldn’t have been better with our entire family (kids and dog included) Everyone was so respectful of world climate (summer of Corona) and space. Of course you need patience with the process. Timelines were clear and the job finished slightly ahead of schedule. In the End: I mean, wow. When we looked at the blueprint on day one, we legit thought they shared the wrong plans. We couldn’t imagine everything we wanted would fit. They nailed it. It’s a dream space for our family and we couldn’t be happier. We couldn’t recommend Ryan Norman Builders any higher. We can’t wait to have them back to work on the upstairs next."

"If you need plaster work done, I highly recommend Best Pro Builders Inc. I have been renovating a 100-year-old house in Cambridge, and needed some ceilings and walls repaired prior to painting. Erick came to my property twice to help me understand which walls and ceilings could be covered with skim coat plaster, and which needed to be demolished, as the plaster was coming loose from the lath. The crew who did the work were extraordinarily competent and hard working. As the job proceeded, I became worried about the huge mess the ceiling demolition made, but when the crew finished the job, they vacuumed and washed the floors, leaving the place cleaner than it was when they got there. I had received two other quotes for this job, and in additional to excellent work they did, Best Pro Builders Inc. was also the lowest priced bid."

"I hired Matt after a no-callback and a no-show from two other contractors. I wish I found him first as he came by when he said would, got me a quote in under a day, and showed up to do the work. He and Austin spent about 8 hour putting up blue board over an old ceiling and in a closet, three coating everything, and touching up dents and areas where the trim had damaged the horse-hair plaster. Everything looks good, they definitely breathed new life into an old room. The plaster's about dry now, ready for a final quick sanding, primer and paint. I'm not going to bother calling anyone else the next time I'm looking to have plaster work done, Preferred Skimcoat gets my money from now on."
