After Tim arrived, we headed to Lowe's because I needed to use a Spire rebate card for the materials, which included a relatively nice wooden door, paint, and 2 by 4's for the railing. It was a freezing day and I thought Tim would have trouble getting the work done by the end, but he had no problems. I also couldn't picture how a wooden railing would be sturdy enough attached to my concrete porch in place of the iron railing that had rusted off years ago, but it's incredibly sturdy and stable. I've already asked Tim to return to help with a couple of other items."
