"I accidentally backed into our garage wall, causing a hole in the wall. As soon as I submitted my work order, Angel reached out right away. Communication was quick, clear, and friendly. The estimate was reasonable. Angel was very flexible with our schedule. Angel was early to the scheduled appointment, work was through quick and clean. Angel went the extra mile in updating us with his progress along the way. We would 100% recommend and use him again! Thank you, Angel!"

"We contracted with HS to retexture and paint a wall (about 150sqft) in our living room. The process included skimming the existing texture. Everything went really well and we are quite satisfied with the result. Communication was always prompt and clear."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Jack and his professional and friendly team did high quality work from start to finish.
Making the door fit into the master bedroom was a challenge because each doorway in our 1929 home has an unique size and shape. I was impressed with Jack's carpentry skills.
Jack and his crew did an exceptional job prepping and cleaning up afterward.
The bathroom ceiling and drywall was a mess from having too much water and moisture - part of the ceiling was warped - they corrected that. The sanding in the bathroom and the painting exceeded my expectations. You'd never know there was a major leak in the bathroom.
After replacing the shower head in the master bedroom, we now have better water pressure when showering.
Jack and his crew deserve a 5 star rating.

FAQs for acoustic ceiling tiles install projects in Puyallup, WA

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.

Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.

Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.

Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
