"We suffered damage due to hail from a storm in 2016. We had a company come out and tell us we had no damage. Then we were contacted by G.H. and they offered us a free assessment to see if there was damage. We had them out and sure enough we did have damage. They met the insurance adjuster when he came out and got us the money to replace the roof. The work was done in a short period of time and we could not be more pleased."

"We hired SJ Interior to remove popcorn ceilings, repair and finish. Santiago is a true professional and his workers are the very best. The care they exercised in prepping our home for the removal was extraordinary. Everything was taped and covered with plastic; however, the crew took the time to sweep and wipe up each before leaving. The newly finished ceilings are beautiful. Santiago, and his crew are the very best and definitely the finest contractors we have ever dealt with. The work product is impressive, the guys are polite, professional and skilled. Aside from their work, which is top-notch, the clean-up up following the completion of the job was outstanding. We will hire SJ Interior again."

Small jobs welcome
"Milan is an absolute artist, professional all the way. Arrived on time to see what was needed and arrived on time for the task of repairing my ceiling in the living room from water damage. I know of people that has had similar work done and the contractors are very messy, but not Milan. Now this is something I have never done before, I actually paid Milan before he even started the job. He didnât ask me to do this; I just felt that comfortable with him. Iâm not suggesting that anyone pay a contractor before the job has been completed. Two thumbs up for Milan and his company M&M Painting."

"Reyes and his team did an amazing job. The Sheet Rock had to be removed, as it had mold and had to be replaced, the rest of the ceiling had pop corn which had to be scrapped and removed and the ceiling repainted. They gave us a quote on the spot and the date they could start, as well as how many days it will take to complete. They arrived on the date agreed and on time and they got right to work. They covered the walls with plastic from ceiling to floor and made sure everything was well protected. They cleaned after themselves every day and were very responsible. Completed the work on time and on budget. They take a lot of pride in their work. Will definitely hire again for our next project. Robert and Maryse Denzer"

A drop ceiling is a type of secondary ceiling that is dropped down below the actual ceiling of a room, hence the name. It’s made up of ceiling tiles (made of fiberboard, foam, wood, metal, or plastic) supported by a metal grid. The space between the drop ceiling and the structural ceiling can be used to hide wiring, pipes, and HVAC ducts.
Most drop ceiling installations take about two to three days, including the time needed to build the grid frame, install it, and place each ceiling tile properly. Your installation might take more time if you need to modify plumbing, HVAC ducts, or electrical wiring to accommodate the new ceiling.
Most drop ceilings require a clearance of at least three inches from the structural ceiling, though you’ll likely need more than that to make space for pipes, ducts, lights, fans, sprinklers, or wiring. In many places, building codes require a minimum ceiling height of seven feet, which can limit the amount of clearance you’ll have between your drop ceiling and structural ceiling.
Yes, you can paint a drop ceiling, but it’s not always recommended. Painting a drop ceiling can sometimes void your warranty because using improper paint or technique can cause the tiles to sag. Paint can also negatively affect the fire resistance, soundproofing, and light reflection of the panels. Consider these downsides before taking on ceiling painting costs.
