"Donnie came out to look over the job and give us a price. He was on time professional, knowledgable, and sincere - my husband and I both felt very comfortable with him. He sent a written quote via email latter that day as promised. When we finally had most things out of the basement we called him back. He came out again, we added a few things to the original plan. He was reassuring that he could start on our desired date and that we would be happy with his workers. They came on our desired day to start. We were skeptical but hopeful. By the end of the first day we were thrilled with all the workers! No way we could have hoped for better. He gave a quote and tried to start the job that day but it was late in the afternoon . The crew arrived on the 26 .the dropped the large tree that was. "I am extremely happy and satisfied with the service I received from Custom Craft Environmental. I wanted to have my bathroom inspected for asbestos as I am doing some remodeling (including ripping out tile). Throughout the process I worked with a gentlemen named Rich. During correspondence prior to the inspection date, Rich was always very responsive and professional. On the inspection date, Rich was on time and, again, professional. While my main concern was tile, a thorough inspection was done of the whole bathroom area (including checking under the carpeted portion of the bathroom space). I was also very impressed by Rich's vast knowledge. As we talked more generally about my living space, I learned that there is a hazardous substance in the type of ceiling I have - something I never would have thought of! I'm not doing any ceiling removal/remodeling, but if I ever do, now I know. And last but not least, the price was right!

"The experience was overall excellent, except after it was done I started to question the price and I noticed a few other things that make me grade slightly lower on both price and quality. I should have gotten more quotes, but I had already spent $129 for the one room. I did have a lot of issues and they had to replace a pretty large area of drywall in my hallway. I can’t grade them poorly on price, when I didn’t get more quotes and I didn’t question it until after the work was done and I had paid him. Chris (the owner) did say that he was willing to work with me on price, so I would take him up on that negotiation next time. I was naïve about the price before the project started. As far as quality, the color of the wood trim they replaced around my furnace chimney does not match the rest of the woodwork on the chimney. I have dark wood, and they stained it a bit lighter than that. I said it was acceptable, so it's my fault for not liking it as much after they left. When the sun hits it just right, I can really see the difference in color. But, like I said, it's my fault for saying it was ok. The craftsmanship on replacing that piece of trim was excellent. It looks beautiful, except the color being a bit off. The painter who did the painting afterwards found a couple areas where texture spray is missing and said there was texture spray on my ceiling fan blades facing the ceiling. He only mentioned that, because he didn’t want me to think he did it. I haven’t looked at the blades myself, but I believe him. The painter also pointed out a slight crack forming already near my chimney. I’ve already talked with the owner Chris about that and Chris said he’d come out and look at it. We haven’t made the appointment yet, but Chris seemed concerned about it and will stand behind his work. I’m not sure what’s going on there, because Mudslingers really did a thorough job replacing the drywall around my chimney. I was surprised to see the crack, as well. Overall the cleanup by Mudslingers was very thorough. I was able to comfortably move around my house during the project, which I wasn’t expecting to be able to do. My house looks 100% times better now than it did before Mudslingers repaired the walls. The owner (Chris), his son, and the 3rd worker were all very professional, nice, and they seemed to know what they were doing. His son even fixed a crack in my hallway that I hadn't even noticed. So I appreciated their being proactive while they worked. I trusted them with a key to my home and they used it responsibly. I would hire them again, but I would get a few quotes, just to compare prices. I didn't get more quotes because I had already invested $129 through Angie's List to hire them."
