"Brad and his people did a nice job on what turned out to be a bigger, more time consuming project than he estimated.  The job was to clean up the woodlands on a 1 acre lot (tree and shrub removal and general trimming).  The overall results met expectations, however I could not rate them higher due to the big miss that was made in estimating the job.  The owner has a great deal of experience in the business so I did not expect him to underestimate the time required to do the job by 40%.  We paid a per diem, so the cost was 40% more than estimated.  When someone with his experience tells me with "high confidence" that a job can get done in 3 days I do not expect it to turn into 5 days.  In retrospect I would get a firm quote from them.

Before, I had 3 flooring companies 2 concrete companies not want to do the work it required for my home to get the floor in because of a sloppy DIY someone else before us did. saying it was going to be an amazingly high price to get what I wanted. there were 6 inch step down in two different places that I wanted flush. His team made all levels flush with each other and then stamped the concrete to look like a wooden floor.
