"It was amazing to watch them work. They did my driveway in a day!! Removed the old and put in the new. Excellent work and what impressed me most is when they had the concrete drive rework the mix as it was not right. I have work concrete and they did everything right!!! Easy to deal with, on time and very respectful of my neighbors, my yard and me. Would hire them again."

"The lifting and crack sealing of my driveway and front walkway/porch was fantastic. The driveway sank a little bit a couple of months after application and they came back to lift it free of charge. However, if you need concrete flatwork done, I would suggest going elsewhere. We had two corners that needed poured because they were too damaged to lift. They had to come out to repour three times in one year, and the concrete is already starting to crack again."

"5 Stars!! We interviewed several companies and chose Pro Polyjacking. Steve W. inspected all of our driveway, sidewalk, and back patio. He discovered several voids and spots that needed filled with his sonar equipment. We appreciate him taking the extra step to inspect everything. They came out and leveled the driveway and filled several voids due to erosion over time. Thank you for the great professional service and great price point as well! Thank you again and we will refer you to friends and family for sure!!"

"I had rated their work earlier but now somehow it's missing from this site. What happened to my rating from before. I gave them an average of 3 stars because their price had changed and became more money, some of which I had agreed to. I explained in my last rating that I experienced poor customer service. Judd contatcted me after I rated them and said he would have the dried up concrete removed from my siding. I told him that I would change my rating after they cleaned the concrete from my siding. I am doing that right now. However I would like to know what happened to my precious rating. Are there other ratings of Cousins that have been removed erroneously? I will not give them 5 stars. Even though I knew there would be some damage to my yard with the equipment they used, my yard is a disaster. They did not even attempt to replace or do a small bit of repair work to my yard. Fixing the damage cost me almost 700.00 dollars. Several neighbors told me that the contractors they used minimized the damage and even repaired the yard by placing more dirt, grass seed and straw down where their equipment was used. All this repair work costs me over 5000.00. The original estimate was 3400.00 dollars. Wish I would have known this ahead of time so I could have planned more. I will not recommend them to anyone."

"Big shout out to Dil and Cruise for doing a splendid job . They were very courteous, patient enough to listen to my concerns and very friendly. The Job was to lift the concrete and seal the joint and cracks . Time will tell how well the seal will hold especially with colorodo weather but so far happy the result. Thank you Trasher."

"Clint came out to take measurements, explain the product in expert detail, and answer all my questions. He also worked with me on a practical level to schedule everything. This greatly saved my overall project manhours by enabling the guys working on the electrical to avoid extra labor post foam. The Modern Foam guys were very professional, kept their timelines, and left a clean and safe work environment when they were done. I was able to have peace of mind with all the crews on the project not interfering with each other, and even received compliments from my sheetrock guys when they went in after Modern Foam. With how efficient the whole process was, it's safe to say the return on my investment started the day I said yes to working with Modern Foam. The returns have continued ever since with the significant reduction I have seen on utility bills. I am eager to see what they can do for my next house project that needs concrete leveling! I would recommend them to anyone and already ha"

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
