"Two years ago I had our foundation worked on by what I thought was a reputable company.  We had huge verticle and horizontal cracks in our foundation walls and settlement issues along the basement walls.  The company said the basement needed to be peired in various locations along with wall anchorstp prevent pressure from the soil.  We have 75 feet of basement wall to repair....We had the work completed costs us 34,000 and we got a guarentee... All is good right, not so much. The cracks began to open up and as the house continued to settle the foundation was unstable.  Our guarentee turned out to be not so much as the salesman who came back told us it was an act of God that caused the failure and that is not covered by thier guarentee.... We love our home and were not prepared to walk away.  A friend from work told me about Advanced foundation repair and replacement. knew and had worked with Frank Matyiko the owner and I called him for a quote.  Frank explaind to an angry me that the original foundation company had good intentions but it was not the way to fix our foundation issue.  It needed to be replaced! We hired Advanced Foundations repair and replacement to redo a section of our basement.  Advanced, Franks team slightly raised our floor which took off the weight, then they cut the section of the wall that was cracked and settleing and demolished the wall section.A new footing was poured along with a new wall without a crack in sight to this day. 
So essentially 75 feet of wall was taken out and replaced while our home was supported by the most modern hydraulic jacks I have ever seen. It was like a subdivision party, the neighbors were very impressed with thier work and professionalism and one even had Frank come out the next week to look at thier repair needs.  I highly recoomend Advanced Foundation Repair and Replacement, wish I had called them first...
