"Overall the job went great! Started and finished in one day! Workmanship excellent. The only disappointment was they didn't back fill to the new patio and concrete leaving me with having to order top soil. Was told they don't do this. My only suggestion, is you notify new customers of this during the quoting and estimate process. First time have concrete removed and replaced, so I did not know to ask. Other than that, fantastic job!"

"We couldn't be happier. The crew did an excellent job, the concrete has no 'high spots' to trip on around the pool. We thought we would have to replace the deck around the pool but the 'Mudjackers' fixed the problem. The crew worked fast & efficiently and left no mess behind. We hope to get on their schedule soon to fix another problem area. A friend referred them to us after the good work they did at his house- so glad he did! Highly recommend!"

Customers say: Quality work
"It took us over a year to find a firm willing to address the sinking drain cover in our driveway. We received bids ranging from a totally redo of the driveway to overly creative ideas. We had just about given up when I found a YouTube video that addressed a similar problem. Now I could show contractors what we needed done. So we again went online searching for a contractor. When Eli (from AA Concrete & Concrete Removal) stopped by to give us an estimate he immediately understood the problem (even before I sent him a link to the YouTube) video. Eli was one of 3 contractors we contacted. The other 2 did not understand the issue. AA Concrete & Concrete Removal was thorough in their description the repair. The work was completed on time and the work area cleaned. I would highly recommend AA Concrete & Concrete Removal for standard and nonstandard concrete repair."

"I have had Oasis here on several occasions- hauling away yard waste, edging gardens, spring/fall cleanup, tree trimming/thinning/ removal. They are professional, efficient and knowledgeable about their work. Their prices are reasonable. The crew was friendly and hardworking. I will definitely continue to hire them for all yard work."

"Very prompt and efficient with quality results!"
Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.
Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.
Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.
An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
