The drainage issues were harder to solve, but they worked through them, and improved our backyard drainage conditions. "David and his crew were extremely efficient, effective, and productive. We were faced with the complete demolition of a 35-40’ long 10’ high railroad tie retaining wall which had deteriorated. DMC removed the entire wall and the shale and soil which had sunk and caused the concrete parking pad to crack and sink within a few days. He constructed a new wall of Normandy blocks backed with stones and gravel, a new drainage system, and finished with permeable pavers which effectively addresses the large amount of rain water we get in the east Tennessee mountains. "Braxton came as scheduled to level up the various slabs of concrete in our driveway. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We are pleased with the work he did and the level of service he provided! The weather did not allow him to finish the job to his satisfaction. So, he returned a few weeks later when the weather was forecast to be dry for the day to seal the cracks and cover them with sand. Not only was the end result aesthetically-pleasing, it is sealed now to protect from any water getting underneath the concrete slabs in the future.
