They started the project on Monday and were completely finished by Friday. Mccune's communication was excellent. What stood out most was their reliability and understanding they showed up on time every day and truly listened to the specific needs of my property. They even made sure the property was left spotless, cleaning up all debris before they finished. It is rare to find a crew that is this fast, professional, and high-quality. We had a 15+ year old paver walkway and and patio that had gradually sunk, creating 2-3 inches of water in several areas when it rained due to poor original installation. Sandor Hegedus came and explained the problem thoroughly and recommended the appropriate way to correct our situation. "Our backyard leads to a steep ravine. Most of the flat part of the yard at the top of the ravine was covered by 750 square feet of concrete slab. We wanted to have all of the concrete removed and replaced with a grass lawn, a large natural stone patio, a stone fire pit, a drainage system, trees, planting beds, and small boulders. We got four bids for our project. Virtuoso's bid was not the highest or the lowest, but it was clearly the BEST bid. Their bid included a comprehensive scope of work, a reasonable timeline for completing the project, and a fair price for materials and labor. Rod Costa is a creative and talented landscaper. He worked with us to craft a plan that would include beautiful patio features while also addressing unseen necessities like drainage. His landscape team members are very hard working, very knowledgeable, and very nice people. Equipment and material deliveries were efficient and not disruptive. The street and driveway were hosed down at the end of each work day as needed and all tools and equipment were stowed away. Rod met with us frequently to update us on the project and answer our questions. Virtuoso Landscaping created a stunning backyard for us. The quality of their work is impeccable. They take pride in what they do and it shows. We are having a lot of fun entertaining friends and family on our new patio. "We had heard of Organic Roots through friends and their previous work at my office. Dan gave us a very reasonable estimate in April, expected to have the work done in late May, but it had to be put off to mid-June due to weather and his schedule; he is very busy. He stayed in touch very well with us through email, although there was one weekend where he said his associate expected to start on the work but no one called or showed up. We were extremely pleased with the work he and his coworker did on our yard. The company's philosophy is very "green," which we liked. Our yard is mostly shady so Dan helped us work with what we have without pouring on chemicals. We have not even been in the house a year, so Dan helped us identify what plants we had and where they would work best and how to care for them.In clearing out some of the ivy, they discovered a lot of rocks underneath which was significantly more work for them. After talking with us, they removed them all and made a nice little rock wall where the ivy was, and only charged us a little more for the extra work.Our yard looks fantastic and we would definitely use them again!"

"Went great. We asked for some changes to patio shape and Dan did just as we asked. He used wall pavers that he removed from previous retaining walls to repair and add to a retaining wall behind the garage. The patio travertine is gorgeous and the granite edging was well done. His work was done well, quickly and neatly. Repairs were made to lawn from heavy equipment used and it came in beautifully. He gave us great instructions which we followed 😀.
