The work was delayed by weather, but was quickly rescheduled. They completely removed the original concrete driveway, installed a bed of stone, and a steel framework. The following day, they installed, graded (so water runs off to the street), and broom textured the driveway. They were respectful of the plants around the driveway. I'm very happy with the final product."

"Job entailed demolition and replacement of a long brick wall built on a steep incline, also to build a concrete patio and install a safety fence. Brick wall was over 1000 bricks and the incline made the design much more complicated. Pedro and crew worked mostly weekends and evenings in order to move me up in their schedule - something much appreciated by me. End cost was exactly equal to the agreed to proposal - no surprises. Area was cleaned up well at completion. I'm more than satisfied and have recommended Pedro and crew to two other friends."

"NV Waterproofing polyjacked my driveway and sidewalk. The initial quote by Evan was thorough and professional - he spent a good amount of time answering all my questions as well. Once I was scheduled, Dillon was on time and knowledgeable about the work to be done. He did a fantastic job and was patient with me while I asked questions along the way. The weather turned to storms a little earlier than planned, so we had to schedule another day for him to come out and seal the driveway. On the rescheduled day, he came back out and sealed, but then there was a small issue with the joint compound refills. We scheduled another day for the project to be completed and third time is the charm. He finished the work and it looks great. There were a couple small issues with getting back on the schedule (communication with the front office, aligning dates, but it was resolved quickly - just needed to continue following up). "The work I asked JP General Construction to undertake was the demolition of a 40 year old concrete in-ground swimming pool that was far past its prime. I couldn't be more pleased with the job done by JP General Construction. When I first contacted the owner, Jaime Peredo, he made time to do a site visit the same day in spite of other projects in progress. I found him and his staff to be flexible, straight forward in describing the details of the work to be done, the techniques and equipment involved and the probable duration of the project. The work ethic and attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for., especially on the part of his employee Carlos who was tireless in some very difficult work breaking up the concrete and rebar with a jackhammer. Initially I realized that this was probably not too common a job, so with due diligence I got several proposals for the work, including one from JP General Construction. I had previously been acquainted with their pool demolition work by a near neighbor who also had a pool demolition done by JP General Construction some years ago. He had been very pleased with the result, and still is. I'm certain that I made the right choice with JP General Construction. They would be at the very top of my list for any of the types of work that they do based on their pricing, work ethic, attention to detail, flexibility, detailed proposal, and ability to explain the details of the job in layman's terms as well as the final inspection process."

"Abel and his team are highly responsible, knowledgeable of their craft and perfectionists. Abel took out concrete in my backyard and installed eco-friendly permeable pavers that look great and absorb water. He also installed lattice in my deck, painted the whole deck and fixed the upper portion of my fence. I'll be doing additional work with him and his team. "Great experience. The previous reviews were spot-on. This business is all Lazaro - you deal with Lazaro from the beginning and Lazaro is there every day throughout the job. He is personable, patient, explains everything clearly, is prompt, responsive, reasonably priced, sensitive to budget, creative coming up with solutions for unique situations, and flexible on scheduling and on changes that may come up during the job. I could tell he was the one when I first met him; he measured everything and listened carefully to my concerns and suggestions. This is entirely unlike the other highly-rated Angie's List big business from which I requested an estimate, who sent a young marketing guy out who provided a fancy folder, did not really listen (just kept saying "yeah, we can do that, and we'll throw in some other things at no additional cost"), took no measurements and provided an outrageous quote. I've attached a before and after picture. My driveway pavers were spreading apart due to poor drainage due to tire pressure over time. In addition to reinforcing the substructure and sloping the driveway correctly away from the house, Lazaro came up with solutions including beautiful gravel side drains and reinforcing the previously spread-apart area with a concrete border hidden under the gravel. He also reset our fence post that had been rising due to the poor drainage and installed a downspout drain under the reset driveway with a pop-up drain on the other side instead of having the downspout pour directly onto the pavers, which also may have led to our previous problems. And he was creative in redistributing our oil-stained pavers in a random pattern so they wouldn't be as noticeable. Great job."

"We had issues with rats burrowing into our backyard under our fence.  Diversified installed a subgrade concrete wall 1 foot deep around the perimeter of our backyard and fully paved our driveway so the critters had no way to get it in.  They also installed a new concrete pad for our condenser unit, and repaired our fence, which had gaps that allowed critters to crawl through. They came in at about the same price as another firm, but were able to start work immediately.  The end result looks great and has had the desired result (no rats in the backyard!).  They were easy and responsive to work with, especially on what was kind of an odd job.

"I was very happy with the flagstone patio work performed by Pro Landscapes. Several other companies recommended ripping out the existing patio entirely and replacing it with concrete pavers that are easier (than natural stone) to install. Pro Landscapes was able to maintain the existing base and curvature of the old patio and install new flagstones. They also installed an extension. Would definitely recommend."
