"There are certain trades that are very hard to find quality people to do residential jobs.   I contacted a lot of companies who said the job was too small.  J R Paving also does major commercial work but they returned my inquiry right away.  The owner explained he had a number of large jobs but if I could wait, he would do my driveway.  He took time to explain every step of the job including the grinding and removal of any tree roots.  They showed up precisely when he indicated they would start.  He checked in after to give follow up instructions and said he would be by to inspect the work which he did.

"Hired them for 3 projects I have installed this basement waterproofing solution in 2 homes. System speaks for itself. Nothing better on the market. Work was first rate. Expectations were presented prior to the project. Details on what would happen and how the project would go. Would not hesitate to use again ERV installed New basement egress. This project did not go as planned, but not at the fault of basement systems. Was originally supposed to get a BILCO door but due to unforseen issues, that was not able to happen. They ended up installing a new staircase from my basement to ground level. Work was first rate and ended up better than a bilco door. Company re landscaped and everything is as it was. All work performed was top notch and no issues on anything they have done"

"Started with wanting a wall along the front of my property. That project turned into replacing all the concrete sidewalks leading to and along the side and rear of the house with EP Henry pavers. The wall was also EP Henry product. The next year, I had them entirely regrade the backyard and resod the entire backyard. Each time, the owner (Mark) came out to give me an estimate. Some of the extra work they did was not on the estimate and I was not charged for anything additional. The team leaders are very professional and, for the most part, responsive to my calls. Because of weather conditions, scheduling can sometimes go awry, but they would always let me know if there was a delay in the scheduled start dates and would always let me know ahead of time when they were coming out. While regrading and sodding the backyard, they nicked one of my sprinkler lines creating a bit of a "swamp" after the spinklers were turned back on. They came back out, replaced the nicked lines and resodded the affected areas, all on their "dime". Almost all of management are related to each other (father, sons, daughter, nephew, etc.) which I think contributes to their wanting please the customer. I would definitely recommend them to anybody."

"Andy was fantastic to work with. He replaced both our front and side flagstone walks. He was able to use many of our existing stones, which helped us save considerably on materials. He also raised the steps leading to the doors in both cases. Everything looks great. One of the great things about working with Andy is that he is the owner/operator. So he did everything in the project, from the initial site inspection, to digging up the old walks, to installing the new walk. If there had been any issues (and there were not), he was onsite to address them. I would highly recommend using him."

Hadn't even planned to ask about that but since I wanted two of the bushes planted in that area I asked just for the heck of it . I was surprised when Pierce said they can get them out of there.
