"Joshua and his team were awesome. They were very prompt in all aspects of the job, from getting a quote done quickly and easily, scheduling, & performing the work. Joshua and his team got done ahead of schedule. They cleaned up the area when they were done as well. Joshua followed up after all work was done to make sure I was happy with the job after having a chance to look it over. Keep up the great work you guys!"

"Tim and his charming wife Erica are amazing, hard working couple that is very motivated and gets projects done within a good budget estimate and on time. In our case they were able to finish work 1.5 day earlier by working long hours thru-out the weekend so we could get into our new house sooner rather than later. They completed about 1500 SF of laying hard wood foor for us with fantastic results. We couldn’t be happier with their great work ethics and strive for perfection. We would definitely use them again for any floor and such projects and most definitely recommend their services to anyone that is looking for a great job with outstanding delivery and an amazing customer service."

Customers say: True professional

"The project went better than expected. Jim, the owner/operator, did the entire job by himself. The project took 2 weeks. The swimming pool was in our backyard with narrow access from the front of the house. He used a mini bobcat to do all the work and was able to maneuver his bobcat between the gate, wall and AC unit. Jim worked with our strict HOA rules and kept his work hours in-line with the city guide lines. He was very nice, professional, polite, kind and performed all the work as agreed upon. We would hire him again and recommend him for a similar job."

"Our pool was almost finished at our new build house so we needed to find a landscaper. We looked online for recommendations and we went to a home show to talk directly to multiple companies. We selected 4 different companies to give us bids. We decided to go with Kendall and Citiscapes after a long talk with him. He answered all of our questions and took the time to explain everything. You can definitely see the military background in him. He was not the cheapest bid but there was just something about him that made us confident that we would end up with the backyard of our dreams! We are so thrilled with the outcome of our landscaping! Citiscapes did such an outstanding job from start to finish. From our design plans, to picking out plants, pavers and the color of our rock - they listened and gave sound advice of what works best for our location and Arizona in general! Communication was excellent and they allowed some design changes in the middle of the job.Top notch company through out! Polly Mann"

FAQs for concrete work projects in Buckeye, AZ

Figuring out how many bars you need isn’t a one-size-fits-all equation. A structural engineer or experienced concrete contractor will look at your slab’s thickness, the loads it must carry, and local code requirements, then run the numbers for you. That quick consultation protects your budget and keeps the finished slab safe, level, and up to code.

Match the metal to the job. For light, thin pours like a sidewalk, welded wire mesh often does the trick. Thicker slabs—driveways, garage floors, foundations—usually call for traditional steel bars. If your site sees salt, humidity, or coastal spray, spend the extra cash on galvanized or stainless steel to fend off rust and avoid future repairs. When in doubt, a concrete pro can confirm the best fit for your project and budget.

Stainless steel costs more up front, but the alloy can last 75 years or longer with little to no rust. That longevity means fewer repairs, less maintenance, and peace of mind for structures exposed to salt, moisture, or de-icing chemicals. If you’re pouring near the coast or in a humid climate, the extra dollars now can save you multiple replacements down the road.

An engineer will review the slab’s thickness, span, soil conditions, and expected loads, then specify bar size, spacing, and grade. Skipping that step or guessing can leave you with cracked concrete or a blown budget. For a modest consultation fee, a local engineer or contractor can do the math and hand you a rebar schedule that meets code and keeps your project on solid footing.
