"Ken and his crew from Magnolia did a renovation of our large (900 sq ft, 18-foot elevation) 17-year-old deck which included new decking wood, new railing with horizontal stainless steel wire, new stair treads & risers. Most importantly, they dug out 15 support posts (6X6 wood, which had been placed directly in the ground and were beginning to rot) and properly placed them on above-ground poured concrete piers. Additionally, another 6 posts and support beam were added. I do believe you could drive a truck on the deck now. The crew worked tirelessly, completing this large project promptly. Their work was professional and craftsman-like, and the work area was kept clean. We are very happy with our new deck!"

"We interviewed three firms specializing in deck construction before deciding on Sexton. Jeremy was knowledgeable, had excellent references and his price was fair. Best of all, we just felt more comfortable with he and his wife, Tanya. Their advertising says they are a 'family business" and true to their word, they are. Our project required removing an existing deck and redesigning the new space to conform to some changes we had made in the rear of our home. Before stating, Jeremy made several suggestions to our "plan" that made it work and look much better. Then, in the middle of the project, we ran into a problem involving air-conditioning and electrical lines. Given past experiences with other contractors, I honestly expected that we would end up paying heavily for the these changes. but Jeremy and Tanya took the time to sit with us and go over all our options and helped us choose the one that would give us the best outcome for the least expense. They were more than fair in a situation where we were at a disadvantage. Now we have a beautiful and functional deck that we enjoy every day. "Mr. Summerlin and his crew were great to work with. They were replacing the decking, railings and stairs on an existing deck. They showed up when they were supposed to and they worked through some cold, damp days in February. Our new deck is beautiful and we are very satisfied with the work. They brought the deck up to current code and it is now a safer place for us to enjoy."
