"I hired Dave Villela, owner of Brighton Builders in 2018 to help me rebuild my home in Old Town Park City after a pipe burst destroyed the property. The property required a full gut remodel. The 4 story old town home is historic, the exterior could not be altered; a huge undertaking. Dave managed the process with precision and craftsmanship that exceeded my expectations. He reframed the house from the inside out, redid both decks and reinforced one to accommodate a hot tub, built blackened custom steel beams stairs and kitchen bar that everyone is in awe of plus much more. I can not emphasize enough that without Dave this house would not be the showpiece that it is. Dave's attention to detail is impeccable, catching other contractors' errors before payment so I had some leverage to get them to fix it, saving me thousands of dollars. If you want bespoke high-end work at a reasonable price, and someone who really cares, Brighton is the only game in town."

The new flooring went in about 800sq ft of the house and he had it done in a couple days and it looks great. Mouldings and caulking looked very professional. He also fixed a few large holes in are wall created from an old leaky roof. He repaired a couple of this very quickly and did excellent with taping and texturing. After inspecting my crawl space, he discovered I had a long-standing water leak that had run into the insulation under the house, and was degrading the foundation. He fixed the leak; removed and hauled away the soaked insulation; installed new insulation; reinforced the foundation where it had started to crunble; ran a French drain away from the foundation in case of future leaks; and treated mold on the floor joists. Matt is very good at what he does, reasonably priced and easy to work with. I would highly recomend him."

Some problems were encoutered but Dutch was ready with the solutions bringing peace of mind and high standards.
