"Father son duo came out and transformed my gross back deck into something that my daughter and I will enjoy for many years! So pleased with their work and would use again in a heartbeat. Strongly recommend!!! Great fair price, was quick to get the job done. Left no mess behind. Very friendly and did a wonderful job in explaining what needed to be done and providing numerous options on how to proceed. 5 stars!"

"Hired Marathon Construction to repair a fence that had some posts that snapped off at ground level and to put a preservative sealer on the deck. The estimate was reasonable and they worked hard to finish the project. They did the fence fast and its now very sturdy. They were committed to getting the deck right even though there was a hiccup in getting the deck color mixed to match the sample. David actually took a piece of the deck to have them (Lowes) match it! Everyone I spoke to from the company was very friendly and helpful with questions/requests."

"Team did not know what they were doing, always confused. Starz overquoted and underperformed. They used nails instead of screws, causing deep holes, missing nails, loose ends, cheap, splintered wood, and deck was 50 inches tall, requested 52. There were various cuts in the wood, wood splitting, a piece of wood loose where they cut the post hole and didn't secure it to the deck. For the pool, they used regular sand, not compaction sand. The bottom of the pool is bumpy. They put the pool coves behind the uprights holding the frame firm. They had to take the pool apart to take out the coves and put back the uprights. The first time they installed the pool, it was 2 inches higher than the deck. They broke down the pool and removed sand on one side to meet up with the deck. The pool is lopsided and water is 6 inches deeper on one side. I had to pay an additional $300 for them to reinstall. The second time they installed the pool, it still did not flush with the deck. I have to redo it all."

"Absolutely love my new deck. Can’t wait to get a pergola added next. They completed the deck the same day."

"I had an amazing experience, they did a great and efficient work, in love with the result, also, they are very kind and friendly. I would hire again with no doubt!"
