We received several estimates for the work and Minquiz Construction came in with a quote that was very reasonable. We are so glad we chose them to do the job. Angel is a craftsman. Our deck stairs had an interesting design and Angel replicated that design and it actually looks better than it did originally. He ended up having to put several coats of stain on the base and he worked on it until it was perfect. We would definitely use Minquiz again."

"He arrived within an hour of the start time and carefully covered the ground and surrounding fence that didn’t need paint, so the paint was properly directed. He applied 2 coats, as discussed. Though he didn’t do any repairs on the fence, this was not contracted. So, he accomplished exactly what he said, without giving that extra touch."

"Jaime did an excellent job! I hired another contractor who was doing a shoddy job and did not complete the project. Jaime stepped in and corrected the numerous issues and completed the deck. There was a lot of work that had to be corrected (added support underneath the deck, removed and added boards around the perimeter of the deck, added fascia, added stairs, fixing railing, adding posts, etc.). Wished I had hired him from the beginning! Would have saved myself a lot of headaches, time and money! Jaime fixed the issues and my deck now looks great! He was there everyday and worked long hours. "Called me within a minute of hitting submit... very friendly and honest guy. Called him about cleaning snow and ice off roof and gutters. He told me melting the ice out of the gutters could cause more problems then solve and the amount of snow on my roof wasn't bad enough to warrant any action. He didn't want to take my money for something that wasn't really needed. A rare act of honesty in this day and age. He'll be coming back out in spring to do some work on my deck and caulk the side of my deck that attaches to the house and is currently causing a small leak in laundry room ceiling directly above it."
