Get matched with top deck pros in Pittsboro, NC

"They were pricy, but came highly recommended. They were prompt in scheduling. Their main selling point is the quality of the prep cleaning. While the new deck looked OK, there were missed areas on the existing porch. The quality of the staining itself was variable - there were areas where they did a great job, and others that were missed, overlooked, or intentionally ignored. The eaves were among the intentionally ignored, and I was told "that's defined as part of the roof structure, which isn't included." Excuse me, but the contract says "clean and stain exterior of screen porch" - it does not say "screen porch walls only." Another ignored area was the top edge of the fascia and floorboards, which they stained above, and below, leaving a gap. And there were several other spots that were overlooked even after a visit to complete punch list items. I asked multiple times to talk to the owner but he never called me back. Next time I'll just hire a real house painter."

"Really great. The deck looks so much better."

"New screened in deck in the Smithfield/Wilson’s Mills area. We are so very pleased with the quality of work done on our deck. They came sooner than we thought & had it done quickly. They cleaned up the area afterwards, leaving the deck ready to use. We had a few issues with minor things, but Maegan has been on top of them all to get them taken care of. We would definitely recommend Elite Xteriors as the go to for a deck build!"

"Completely rebuilt my 12x10 deck. Composite steps and flooring, wood railings."

"Replaced rotting boards on deck, and powerwashed deck. Then painted deck. Also repaired a small shed ramp by replacing a bad board and resecuring the other boards making it safer. They did a great job! Color is great. Polite and easy to work with. Project completed in a very reasonable time frame weather permitting. Very satisfied."

"We were extremely satisfied with Scott Phelps. This was the second time we hired him. The first time he tiled the downstairs including entry, hallway, kitchen and breakfast nook. His workers were punctual showing up every day promptly at 7:00 am. He would show up every day to either check the progress or inform us of what was going to happen the next day. Scott also worked on our bathroom remodel not only with the tiling but also with the planning and design.

He is a stickler for perfection and will not leave the job unless the customer is satisfied. His workers are very talented, friendly and trustworthy. We had no problem leaving the house while they were working. The cost of the job was reasonable. Scott's prices are higher than many but not by much and we feel that what we paid was well worth the outcome. You do get what you pay for."

"They did an excellent job. We had a variety of tasks and all were accomplished in one day. Supervisor and estimator Alex was great with communication and scheduling. Alex and Carlos showed up as scheduled at 8 AM ready to work. Alex stayed for a few minutes and then Carlos did the work. Carlos was excellent - very friendly and skilled. He made a few excellent suggestions along the way which we incorporated into the project. Work was finished in one day and cleanup was perfect. I would definitely hire them again."

"These two brothers are excellent. They work seamlessly together, are highly efficient, and stay committed until the job is complete. Iâ  ve already hired them for a second project on my deck and have a third job planned. Youâ  ll be satisfied with their work."

"Prentice and Michelle are FANTASTIC!! We used them a few months ago for some leaf cleanup (which was also wonderful) and after a terrible experience with another provider, I called them back for our regular lawn maintenance. They came the same day (!!!) and went above and beyond all expectations. They finished our overgrown and large yard in about an hour and a half and their customer service cannot be topped."

"The Remodeling company was wonderful to work with! The office staff kept me informed when projects were going to start & their duration, when dumpsters would be dropped off or picked up, as well as letting me know when they wouldnâ t be there due to weather issues- rain and high winds. All the crews were polite and answered any questions I had. I had the Remodeling Company do my roof, tear down the old deck, build a new deck to code, and install vinyl siding and new gutters. I had had an open insurance claim for part of the roof & after the Remodeling company inspected my roof, they sent pictures of hail/wind damage to my insurance company. While insurance wasnâ t going to pay for the new claim because it was less than my deductible, the Remodeling companyâ s persistence and taking & sending insurance people more pictures of the roof has resulted in my getting money towards the roof for both claims! My house has had most of the work completed and it looks fantastic! I could not be more pleased with my selection of the company to do the updates to my house. By the way, my hiring the Remodeling Company came about as the result of a knock on my front door when they were doing work in the area. I did check them out and saw they were very highly rated & the next day we got into specifics about the project and talked money and timeframe. There was a delay due to my having to get the work approved by the HOA, but work commenced less than 2 weeks after getting HOA approval! Thank you The Remodeling Company for a job well done!"
