"Rupert and Michael just completed staining and sealing our very complicated deck/pergola project and did a masterful job. Their communication was prompt, every appointment was on time and their knowledge and craftsmanship was evident from start to finish. We especially appreciated their attention to detail and their care in protecting the surrounding detail of our 1906 home. Our finished deck is beautiful!"

"Julio was punctual very professional and did a beautiful job of sanding and refinishing our deck. We had painted our deck with a thick paint which turned out to be a real mess. Thanks to Julio's sanding and refinishing we have a great new redwood deck. I am pleased and totally impressed with Julio's work he used an active vacuum to capture all the sanding dust which keep our yard and furniture very clean. I recommend Julio without any reservation he is a true profession craftsman."

"CalPreserving was the total deal! I didn't know what all we needed and all the serves Iooked at seemed to offer only a piece of the puzzle, such as just power washing, or construction, or staining. This group did it all. The initial visit to assess the issues was informative and helpful. We could see our choices. They offered sound advice and looked at ways to save us money where it was possible. We ended up replacing about half the boards on the oldest deck. The finished product on both decks looks amazing -- like new. The workmen were thoughtful, knowledgeable, hard working, and polite. I was impressed that they even followed up with tips on maintaining the decks for years to come. I will definitely have them back every couple of years just to check on the decks and preserve the investments we have made in them. My highest recommendation."

"I am writing this review on behalf of Javier Flores I engaged Javier Flores to build a deck in my back yard. I could not be happier with the job he did. Javier and his brother Daniel arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. each day and worked hard all day, with the exception of lunch. The two of them work together very well. When they finished the deck, I told them that I would sweep off the saw dust, but Javier wouldn’t let me sweep the deck, He told me I am paying him to perform that duty. Javier and Daniel are experienced hardworking men who value precision, and pay attention to the littlest of details. Our new deck is as stiff as concrete, no sags, no squeaks at all. I am so happy with the deck, that I am going to have them install the deck railing also. I would gladly recommend Javier to anyone that needs a deck. Henry & Mary Anne Price"

"We spent 3 months trying to find the right contractor to tear down and rebuild our deck. We hire Brian ONeill after receiving a bid and discussing the project with him. He listened to what we wanted and worked with us to come up with the correct deck configuration that we wanted. He is a true craftsman and exceptionally easy to work with. We couldn't be happened with the finished product and that he did everything he said he would do and was a complete pro before, during, and after. Thank you Brian!"

"Techwood did an outstanding job on our deck project from start to finish. Their crew was professional, punctual, and clearly experienced with Timbertech composite decking material. They walked us through material options, gave us a clear timeline, and kept the workspace clean throughout the build. The finished deck looks fantastic - clean lines, sturdy railings, and great attention to detail. You can tell they take pride in their work. We're thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Techwood to anyone considering a deck upgrade with Timbertech materials."

"This company is the very best. My two old decks now look like they are new. The crew is very detail-oriented especially with the prep workâ -power washing and sanding â so the final staining is perfect. My windows were covered while they worked and everything cleaned up when they finished. Also, the price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend them!"

"We hired Michael and his company, Northgate Development to repair an old deck in our backyard. It soon became obvious that the deck was not salvageable. After discussing it with Michael he gave us several options - replacing all the deck boards with redwood or with Trex deck boards. He was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of each option and the prices involved. In the end we decided to go with Trex. His installation of the deck with new supports and water proofing was beyond what I thought he would do. His employee Angel craftsmanship was excellent. When I identified a problem with one of the deck boards, he replaced it without problem. In the end, we spent more than we had budgeted but we are really happy with the results. If you need deck work, I recommend hiring Michael and his team."

"Unbelievable turnaround time on our new multi-level deck. Bayside Builders Group gave us a realistic timeline and actually beat it by two days. The framing underneath is beefy and engineered perfectly to handle our heavy hot tub. Communication was awesome from start to finish, no guesswork or waiting around for answers!"

"EXCELLENT JOB! They built me a composite deck at a very reasonable price and I'm very happy with it. Thank you!"
